We've just returned from an enjoyable six night stay at Laneside. Everything about it was brilliant, easy booking system, great communication, friendly welcome. The facilities are modern and clean. Pitches are level and spacious. The location is brilliant for visiting the area, there's great bus and train links nearby. It's a five minute walk into Hope with cafes, pubs, etc. We can highly recommend and will definitely be back.
My partner and I recently enjoyed a delightful 4-night stay at Jack's Shepherd Hut by the river Noe in Laneside Caravan Park, Hope. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the cosy, inviting atmosphere of the hut. The accommodation was impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged, which immediately made us feel at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing us to rest well each night after our days of exploring. We were also impressed by the amazing shower, offering all the comforts of home amidst the rustic setting. One of the highlights of our stay was the soothing sound of the river Noe running nearby. It provided a calming soundtrack to our mornings and evenings and added to the overall tranquil ambiance of the location. Jack's Shepherd Hut is perfectly situated for those looking to hike in the Hope Valley and beyond. Each day, we set out on different trails, all easily accessible from the park, and were continually amazed by the stunning scenery and natural beauty the area has to offer. The staff at Laneside Caravan Park were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Before we arrived, they provided us with useful information and recommended great local attractions, dining spots, and activities. Their suggestions helped us make the most of our time in Hope Valley. If you seek a cozy, comfortable, and conveniently located accommodation to explore the Peak District's beauty, this is the perfect choice..
Lovely clean and well organised caravan, camping, and motorhome site. Good-sized spaces, great amenities, and perfect location for walks and tours. They have a small onside bar and fish and chip can on certain days.
We stayed at Laneside caravan site as it was handy with where we wanted to visit. The staff were really nice & helpful. It's not the type of site we would normally visit though. We felt a bit like we were parked on a housing estate with all the block paving. Now don't get me wrong, it would suit lots of people I know. It just wasn't our type. I found the new shower/toilet block to be very cold when you've showered too. Didn't get to use the old one as they closed it all off which was a shame, so I couldn't take any photos to review or use those. We had a good stay despite the weather, its just not quite our thing sadly
Probably our favourite campsite. The location is perfect, it's a five minute walk into hope and a short bus ride to castleton or hathersage, lots of people do walk it but my hubby is disabled. The pitches are all flat on site and the facilities are spotless and plentiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
What a fabulous site nr Hope Valley. So organised and well run by lovely staff. Lovely river right near our pitch with fantastic views. Hope Village with pubs, butchers, deli, shops, Church. Loved every minute. Thank you.
Excellent site. Very well maintained and nice clean modern toilet/shower block. Location 10/10. For us, as a family, the only thing missing is a little play area.
Excellent site, great options, different styles of accommodations, very dog friendly,
We recently stay 2 nights, what a lovely site! Well maintained, clean and great facilities. The staff are so helpful and even loaned us a longer electric cable as ours didn’t reach. The site has a small shop for any essentials needed, and a little pop up van selling teas, coffees and breakfast. The site is a short walk from the village which has everything you would need, cafes, pub and small shops. There is also easy access to various bus routes. I would definitely recommend this site, and would book to stay again.
Great campsite, nice one and clean and very friendly, make sure you pop by Polly's for a breakfast bap and if you forget anything I'm sure the well stocked shop will have it
