Ordered a table from them they sent the wrong van and they couldn’t get under the bridge , even though I had told them when I ordered it, I told them how to get to the property, by going round and over the old road but they refused. I rang the customer services who said they would arrange for them to come the next day . I wasn’t happy as we had a day off for delivery. After a lot of arguing we got transferred to complaints and as a gesture of good will I receives a lovely piece of wall art from them. Which I chose. So in the end great customer service . But the rude drivers need sorting
Went looking for leather two seater recliner today, and visited all five of the furniture stores in White City. Oak Furniture Land had the largest range at the most reasonable prices. The salesman was extremely helpful, but without being pushy. Oak Furniture Land delivered my suite within a week of ordering it, and I paid for the enhanced delivery so the delivery men unpacked everything, assembled everything, and took all the packing away. Excellent service and at an excellent price so I would definitely use them again. The only hiccup was the time of delivery. I had been told the delivery would take place between 10:30 and 13:30, and would receive a phone call half-an-hour before their arrival. So I was expecting a call by 13:00 at the latest and when I hadn't received one by 13:30 I began to worry. Got a call about 10 minutes later and the delivery took place about twenty minutes after the call. This isn't a complaint. It's an acknowledgement that there are sometimes unforeseen circumstances. It may stop someone else worrying needlessly. The goods arrived on the right day and almost within the time scale they gave me. All in all I was very pleased with the service, with the suite, with the price, and with the delivery.
Really nice helpful company. No rush at all to buy we bought two sideboard A table and four chairs, A side table. We even got two table lamps as a gift.
Very rude staff,was approached and was asked if we had been there before,replied that we had and was told ok was only asking so crack on,tosspot lost a big sale
We've shopped at Oak Furniture Land before buying furniture but this visit was for my Mum to look for a recliner to riser chair. She was thrilled to find exactly what she was after for a great price, assisted by a lovely guy called Nemo - who explained everything in detail and was so friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this shop & their staff.
We went to buy a chest of drawers for the bedroom. Was very pleased with what we found but unfortunately when agreeing the purchase was informed that there would be a delivery charge of £15 to deliver to the door or £50 to be delivered into the house!! Of course we wanted it delivered into the property!! We live in a ground floor apartment, we are 74 & 75 my husband is disabled. Sadly and for obvious reasons we did not purchase the item.
Decent oak furniture branch, it's located in white city close to old Trafford, so on match days don't go if it's close to kick off as you'll spend more time in traffic than in the store. The store is well laid out, with an upper floor. They have most ranges on display so you'll get an idea of the look, and quality of the furniture even if they don't have a specific model on display. Staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. I purchased a dresser and they were helpful in explaining all the delivery, and installation options. They also mentioned that during the wait for product delivery, if the price drops the all refund the difference which is reassuring.
Absolute disappointment. Would have given zero star if there is such option. The salesmen are good and efficient. Horrible experience with delivery. Ordered a sofa in December 2022 and scheduled for delivery in April 2023. Told me that it would be ready for delivery in May 2023. So I was okay with a slight delay. But then told me by email that it would be delayed for almost another cycle and won’t be ready until August 2023. I have no clue at all. I paid loads of money for the sofa for spring and summer time but it may still not be ready by August. The salesman told me it took 14-16 weeks to make one so with eight months you can actually make one more sofa. I highly suspect that they just sold my sofa to other customers and made me wait as I have already paid in full. Very frustrated and I do not recommend buying sofa from Oak Furnitureland unless you’re fine with repeated delays and waiting over eight months for a fully paid sofa.
Took measurements of all the access points and areas that furniture needed to go on 3 times, took these measurements to the store and was told by a sale representative that the furniture I had selected would fit and there would be no issue with the delivery, despite expressing this concern very firmly on the day. The sales man reassured me that the wardrobes come in two sections a bottom half and a top half and that these are delivered and assembled in to separate parts. The day of the delivery came, two elderly gentlemen came with a van and before even stepping into my house said that the house was too small and they wouldn't be able to fit it in the this was literally within 2 seconds of opening the front door to them and without them having to come inside I persuaded the man to come and look and double check. One gentleman who kept referring to me as "princess" said as a two man team they wouldnt be able to lift the wardrobes over the banister. After a lot of pretending to go back and forth and carrying around a square bit of material and saying no this wont do he called the costumer service line. The lady I spoke to was extremely rude and not understanding at all, despite telling her that I had given the measurements to the store and other companies had delivered heavy and large furniture to the property in previous years without issue they proceeded to tell me I would be charged for cancelling even though it was their drivers who were refusing to deliver. They gave me the option to leave all the furniture in the front room so that I can hire my own team of people to take it upstairs but I had paid for this extra service with them and had no one else to ask to do this. By this point I was so sick of the bare faced lies that I asked them to refund everything. I am now £100 down because they charged me for the attempted delivery which was not attempted and waited for 2 months for this furniture, never ever again!!! Please note that even their own delivery drivers said that the sales men would do anything to gain a commission and that they would have been able to deliver had they more staff to help. Avoid this company if you would like to save your time, peace of mind and prefer not to be robbed.
