Lanchester Library at Coventry University is hands down the best library I’ve visited so far!nThis place is a game-changer for students and anyone who loves a top-notch study environment. It’s open 24/7 all year round, except for December 25th, which means you can always count on it, no matter your schedule or deadlines. The unique features—like the variety of study zones silent, quiet, and collaborative, the laptop loan service, and the five floors packed with resources—make it stand out. The natural light flooding in and the sustainable design add such a fresh, inspiring vibe. Whether you need a peaceful corner or a group study room, this library has it all. An absolute gem—highly recommend!
I think i should share this only , only because i feel this man deserves to be heard , this lad , looks like in his 50’s is the meanest , rude and treating people of colour differentlynI was student , and worked with Student unionnOnce we had a issue with laptop returns and he told me “ we are not here to spoon feed you “ and he said it very badlynI was bit worried that day and i apologised for the conversation being difficult, but he seems un fazed and been behaving me to the same way every next time i went in librarynAnd i think i should not feel sorry for his actions and the world should know.nI even smiled at him after the event later someday , he is definitely a rude mannnHe don’t deserve to be in the place , called librariannHe has a long grey hair , 50 ish and wears t shirt every time I see and has a beard with grey hairs.nnI never been to the library more often after this event.nDespite that it’s still a nice place
It is a brilliant library! I love how its design and facilities. From this library you can borrow a laptop, a book, have a coffee and a snack while studying and enjoy spending time with your friends. Outside of this library is a beautiful small lake with plants and birds. However, this library is mainly for Coventry University students and staff. Sometimes there are open days organised for visiting if you are not a Coventry University member. Lastly, a bad point is the Library's staff members, part of them are rude and not helpful.
Will never forget that time when I had to stay till 2am to finish my coursework. Also, it was December and the window at the toilet was opened, I hate dealing with freezing toilets seat lol.
The post grad room is pretty deserted most of the time. Great if you need a place to work with no distractions.
