Ok,, but needs more interaction..
Was very impressed by this museum, which is both free, informative and substantial. There are a number of exhibits taking you through the history of the town, as well as a temporary exhibition on the lower floor. Recommended for everyone visiting Lancaster.

If strolling through town, stop in for a visit. Best bit - it's FREE. Very informative and educational. Enjoyed learning the history of the city. Recommend visiting if in town.
Free and interesting museum, even though it is too small and has too less things to explore but still great and should find a chance to visit
Excellent free contribution welcome museum in the centre of Lancaster. Great Victorian and War exhibits. Also showing a Harry Potter exhibit which should keep the kids interested.

It is not amazingly big but it still does hold few lovely things that you can look at probably will take you less than 45 minutes to see it through if you are not looking into every details
