Entered this restaurant immediately you can see it’s clean and spacious inside. Plenty of seats available and amazing food! I placed an order for Chasri Chicken, Kebab and Butter Chicken. The food brought over to our table within 15-20mins it was hot, full of flavour and tasted so delicious! They have ground floor toilet facilities available for customers as well as disabled customers. Coming into the restaurant for wheelchair users can be tricky but with patience you can come inside. The decor is simple with Pakistan vibes throughout. The staff were attentive and polite. I personally would come here again however won’t be every month as the price overall did hit the wallet!
Food was lovely, naan came bit by bit which is perfect they where warm and fresh. Price seemed bit over especially ice cream is over priced but nice quality. Clean and spacious. Would come againFood: 4/5
Such an awesome place, service and ofcourse food quality. Everything that we tried was perfectly done. We ordered Charsi lamb karahi, mix platter, chapli kabaab and daal. Excellent taste and even the roti tasted awesome. Easy parking and the place was not too crowded when we visited . Must try and highly recommended.Food: 5/5
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time with my husband, and unfortunately, it was quite a disappointing experience. We decided to try the mixed grill, which turned out to be a bit of a letdown. Firstly, the wait for our food was unusually long, as everything arrived on a big tawa. While the variety of meats in the mixed grill was commendable, the lack of spiciness was a major drawback. We were hoping for a fiery and flavorful experience, but it turned out to be quite mild and unimpressive, especially considering the price point. Although the meat itself was cooked well, piping hot, succulent, and tender, the accompanying dips were a major disappointment. We were served tiny portions of raita and chili and coriander chutney, with the latter being the worst among the two. The chutney was thick and bland, lacking any real flavor that could complement the meat. It felt like an afterthought rather than a well-crafted accompaniment. The restaurant should definitely consider expanding their dip options to include common choices found in most restaurants, such as green raita, chili and tomato chutney, and Mango chutney. This would greatly enhance the dining experience. Another aspect that left a negative impression was the serving of water. It was served at room temperature, which was quite off-putting, and to make matters worse, they provided plastic cups. Considering the environmental concerns associated with plastic waste, it was disappointing to see a restaurant of this caliber not prioritize sustainability by offering glass cups. Although they kindly provided ice upon request, it's astonishing that they wouldn't provide proper glassware for their customers. To add to the discomfort, the restaurant lacked air conditioning, leaving us to melt away in the humid weather. It's quite surprising that in this day and age, a restaurant wouldn't invest in a basic amenity like air conditioning to ensure a comfortable dining environment for their patrons. The absence of such a necessity greatly affected our overall experience. Lastly, the dessert options were severely limited. After an underwhelming main course, we were hoping for a satisfying ending to the meal, but the choices were few and uninteresting. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to expand their dessert menu to cater to a wider range of preferences and provide a more memorable dining experience. Overall, my first visit to this restaurant left me with a sense of disappointment. The lack of spiciness in the mixed grill, underwhelming dips, room temperature water served in plastic cups, absence of air conditioning, and limited dessert options all contributed to a less than satisfactory experience. I hope the restaurant takes these feedback points into consideration and makes improvements to provide a more enjoyable dining experience for future customers. The only positives was the excellent customer service we received.
Great local place. Fantastic service, and very friendly staff and owners. Prices may appear steep to some, but portion sizes are generous. We went for the charsi lamb made extra spicy and boti chicken both with naan. They usually close for the holy month of Ramadan which is very rare but admirable. Seating is very spacious and the restaurant very clean. They do group bookings see attached photo. Looking forward to trying some different dishes next time.
لالا ته زما زړه لرې This place! I don’t think there are words to describe it! What an absolute gem in Hounslow ! About a 30 min bus ride from Heathrow! We happened here by sheer coincidence as we were meaning to try another place in Hounslow that couldn’t sit us. So absolutely glad we made it here though! The food was next to none, it really did feel like I was sitting roadside in Pakistan eating the food! Oh so good! The charsi karahi was well cooked and the BBQ was unmatched! Not a dry piece of meat in sight! Marinade was well balanced, not over powering! The naan soft and fluffy. The person who was serving us did forget that I ordered chapli kebab, but honestly, the food and service outside of that was so good that I couldn’t say a bad word here! Keep it up!
Surprise place introduced by a family member, service was prompt and the food portions were good size. We had the Nihari and the kabuli pulao, definitely recommend. Will be going again.
This isn't a recent review.. this is from a few months ago.. but putting the review up because I forgot to..we went there for a late lunch.. the food came hot and fresh but afghani taste was lacking specially in the pulao.. the karhai had and overpowering taste of black pepper.. even had karak chai which was not karak. The afghani tikka was not tender. Not a food experience I would want to return back to.
One of the best hidden gems food wise in the country I have to say. Food was so great we forgot to take pictures as soon as we took a bite, thats it you are hooked. They sometimes can be a little under staffed and restaurants needs a little updating. But non of it matters when you taste the food. We have been twice, first time just myself and Mrs and tried a two dishes which we could not fault. Then we took the whole family, parents siblings etc. We ordered majority of the menu and again everything was spectacular in taste. Highly highly recommend this place in Hounslow.
This place is simply wonderful. What a fantastic and authentic dining experience, vah vah! Kya bhaat hai! Our plan was to only have breakfast but the food was so good we returned in the evening for dinner! The breakfast halwa puri was 10/10, such depth of flavour and perfect spice level with some nice big puriyan. In the evening, the experience was brilliant too, wonderful and friendly service. The dishes were all fantastic we tried so many but the highlights for me were the Charsi Lamb Karahi, Tawa Keema Fry and the Kabuli Pulao, the meat was so tender! Looking forward to my next trip to Hounslow and made a list of the next dishes to try.
