I moved back to Sunderland after many year's of living in various places.  I returned to my birth town in a difficult stage of my life.  I walked past Lakeside Baptist church 4 - 6 times a day. Then one day my Daughter said she wanted to go in to sing Christmas songs.  I agreed and looked on the notice board for opening times.  As I was looking I heard a voice asking if he could help. I Saw Mike who is an Elder of Lakeside Baptist Church.  I explained my Daughter query and he invited us to the Christingle service.  Wow... what an amazing Church and all the members and family were so welcoming and friendly.  I've attended ever since and I'm doing the Alpha course and wow... it's an Amazing course and I now feel at home.  Sorry it's a long review but I do believe that if I didn't hear that Mans voice I would not of has the courage to attend.  Thank you to all at Lakeside Baptist Church.  Every Blessing  Anthony. X

A very friendly congregation. Toddler group meets 9.30 a.m on mondays and wednesdays during term time.

A good place to love the Lord and learn to love your neighbours.
