Thanks Grant for taking such great care of us! I needed to buy at very short notice on Christmas Eve. Negotiated a good price and Grant went out of his way so that we could view a car that day and then lent us a car over the Christmas period whilst he replaced a tyre and prepared the car for us. I bought a Citroen C4 here 2 months ago. I was very impressed with the dealership they let me look round the car at my own leisure and there was no pressure. They even delivered the car to me and picked up my old one. All the paperwork was dealt with there and then. I had nothing to do. I would really recommend these guys when looking for a reasonably priced reliable car, I saved £800 compared to a main dealer and felt the service was a lot better. Thanks Grant and Nick
The 340 miles round trip was made worth it due to the very detailed and honest FaceTime call prior to me committing. The salesman was very straight and informative and when I actually arrived to test drive the car I was even more impressed when actually stood in front of the vehicle. Both lads made the whole process seamless and rather enjoyable, one even called me a few days later just to check things were all ok. Honestly I can’t recommend LDVS enough and when I trade it in I’ll be making the long journey back to Windermere comfortable in the knowledge I’ll be looked after and the right vehicle at the right price with a very good warranty will be waiting for me. 10/10 service, honesty and value. After a number of contacts with Grant I travelled the 3.5hr journey to look at a golf sd61 ylh. The car was at the top end of the valuation scale for its age and mileage but was advertised as 'great' inside and out. There was plenty of opportunity in our communications prior to me visiting for discussing any faults with the car. On arriving and seeing/driving the car there were a number if issues damage to side of car, alloy wheels in very bad state, crack in windscreen bigger than 10mm, wear evident depressing/releasing clutch, worn interior, no spare wheel. Not only was there a complete refusal to commit to fixing the noisy clutch but strangely Grant would not negotiate on the price whatsoever. Very disappointing as I wasted a lot of time and money viewing and had I not noticed these issues which the seller denied noticing I'd have bought a car which is definitely not 'great'. Add on in reply- the car was not £2995 as the seller stated in his reply, it was nearly £8000. And the dents and scratches were on three panels of the car; wheel arch, driver and passenger door not just on the drivers door.
Just bought an XTrail from LDVS and I am glad I did. On viewing the car without any pressure my wife and I had a few niggles that we would like to be sorted. Nick agreed to get the little niggles sorted on the vehicle at there expense and also replaced a few parts that they weren’t quite happy with. They even delivered the car to my front door as it had gone over schedule and I couldn’t get back to pick it up. I have had a minor problem arise with the vehicle at the time of writing but after contacting Nick again, he has promised to look into the matter and try and get it sorted for me. I highly recommend LDVS for the sales approach and professionalism in dealing with customers. I will definitely go back
I recently bought a Nissan XTrail from Lake District Vehicle Sales. I was nervous about the size of the car as I am used to a much smaller one, Grant and Nick were so helpful and even took me for an extended test drive to make sure I was happy and confident in driving it. I thought these guys were fantastic and I would highly recommend using them. The car itself has been brilliant.
A truly wonderful experience from a remarkable source, a car dealership! The was no hassle, no pressure and a really helpful salesman, the boss actually. The whole process took as short a time as was possible and within an hour we were on our way with a new car. Give them a try when you want a new car, you won't be disappointed.
After my last car was written off thanks to a white van man I was able to find a very reasonably priced replacement at Lake District Vehicle Sales, I looked at the website shortlisted 2 cars got in touch with Grant & Nick and made a appointment for a look and test drive. Both Grant & Nick were really helpful and are to be highly recommended I purchased a Vauxhall Mariva that ticks all the boxes inline with what I was looking for. Thanks Again
