LAB G is completely unassuming from the outside, but make the effort to locate this ice cream parlour in Brixton Village to be rewarded with some very tasty dessert. A scoop of salted caramel priced in at a very reasonable £1.75 was pretty much perfect, and I also noticed they had a white chocolate flavour on offer amongst other varieties. If you come to Brixton Village for dinner, then stop here for afters.
The owner is Italian and has brought some of the flavours of Italy. I had panne cotta and zuppo inglese. Both very nice and no water detected just smooth tasting ice cream. The shop was very busy and we had to que to get served. Lots of choice with other flavours too.
Forget all the "best gelato in London" lists you've seen so far: this is the only place I've found where ice cream comes pretty close to a good Italian one.
Best ice cream in London. Delicious, Italian ice cream. They even have fior di latte which I haven't seen in any other ice cream shop in London.
Good, honest, Italian gelato. A delicious finish or start to any jaunt in Brixton Village.

A lovely friendly little ice cream parlour just inside the Coldharbour Lane entrance of Brixton Village. The staff have always been wonderful when I have visited and the ice cream is delicious, The Salted Caramel is of a very high standard and the sorbets are also top notch. Watch out for the Chocolate and Chilli, it is very hot you will find large peices of chilli peppers in it, nearly blew my head off.
