18.12.21. The Afters has gone smaller store. The space seems to be little more crowded for my liking. They do maintain cleaning and covid compliance to every seating's. Child friendly yes but no high chairs or baby room to feed etc. No car parking. Staff are great and the portion is decent and I would say little pricey I noticed. They should do royalty card for customers etc... For retention. The other thing is seating arrangements booth is were too close to others. And no AC to allow fresh air. Outside of this it was great family time.
This cold desert place is located in Green St E6 One of the best Falooda Asian Ice cream kulfa with rice noodles, creamy cold milk and chia seeds. When I had today for our Eid Celibration, one was not enough On other hand my son desert white chocolate chip cooky dough was ..row and too sweet. Setting was amazing, clean and service was good but they don't take criticism very well But I will still rate them good
Amazing evening. We really enjoyed afters. recommendations this place and staff are so so kind.
Desertmilkshake: 2/5 - poor texture and I could literally taste the ice and the flavour I got tastes nothing kinda Bueno. Value: 2/5 - A regular size is very small and priced competitively Service : 0.25/5 - waited over an hour just for 3 milkshakes, they do not give you an order number so anyone can push in infront of you or they'll end up priotising someone else. The workers are also too busy to serve anyone because they are busy packing for thier lovely delivery drivers. I did come at a very busy time but the situation could've been better dealt with. I don't blame the workers at all, I blame the manager of the place, he has his priotises in the wrong place.
I usually buy a waffle and falooda or chocolate milkshake normally the portion size is average but this time I ordered through Uber the waffle size was so small and the falooda cup has also shrunk not sure why everything just looked small not sure for what reason!! I did raise this complaint straight away to Uber as I was not happy with the portion sizes
I have visited at afters with my guest. As already mentioned in Google that shop will close at 2 AM. So i came there at 1:35 AM And shutter was closed and staff told me that they are closing and now they ll not serve. I request that if you are closing soon thej mentioned it properly. It wasted mine as well as my guest time as we visited from long. He came from here leads to meet me and i took him here , and tgis is wht happened. Really we felt very bad. Plz don't fool people and don't do like this.
This place was lovely at the beginning and I did give it a 4 star in the past but it's let's it's self go. The staff are not interest in severing and it was very problematic after my order was taken on who will make my dessert. My order was passed from one person to another and I was not very pleased. I would of cancelled my order but I was with my children and I did not want to upset my kid's. Staff needs to focus more on getting the services right and not be on the mobile phone discussing non business stuff and giving 100% to customer's. business owners need to look at this problem. I do believe staff need to work as a team. I felt not welcomed and environment was not very pleasant. Food quality has gone down and quantity has been reduced. All transaction are cash only and its troubling customer to go cash point. If you like to pay with card then this is not the place for you. I would not recommend this place unless improvements are made. Best of luck and I hope all can be sorted.
The premises have been reduced by half after all the refurbishment works. They now have new seating booths which are nice and comfortable and easily accommodated a group of 6. The ice creams were excellent as always, but one thing I would have preferred was if they could have been served altogether instead of one by one. Overall it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend people to come in to try them out.
Been a big fan of Afters for last 5 years. Sometimes i travel all the way from west to eat, because they are open late night and friendly. However over the period, the new staff are either under too much workload or not well trained. I hope that gets better.
Nice and clean place to go! Opene till late night... loved every. It of it... reasonable price... service was bit slow...
