Traveling alone for the first time in over 20 years, a colleague recommended this restaurant to me and I was not disappointed. I was offered a central table on the balcony, the vibe is bustling, welcoming and warm. I was dining alone, there was no rush, the waitress was friendly and attentive The food is outstanding, go for the set menu, plenty of choice for vegetarians. My only piece of advice is to book your table in advance as it gets busy. And remember, Life Is Beautiful
Really enjoyed La Vita! Beautifully decorated and very polite staff. I ordered the Mia Casa and it was gorgeous. Only down fall was that me and my partner reserved our table, we were sat next to a walk in table and they received their food, bill and drinks way before us even though we were seated about 20 minutes before them. But it was a busy Saturday night so understandable! Will definitely be back to try it again
Manager was very kind in accommodating us just half n hour before closing time! All very reasonably priced for a central location, the sharing half n half dish was superb for me and my girlfriend. We even managed to squeeze some brilliant desserts in can’t recommend this place enough for a genuine, authentic high quality Italian meal in the heart of Glasgow
La vita is a phenomenal little restaurant, great menu, fantastic food/drink and its such a relaxing place. One thing i thought was lacking was the service, took a while to be served, never received drinks and it took a while to get the bill. • Judging on how highly this place is reviewed we probably caught them on an off day. will be back
Great Food Excellent food options and great location. The pizza was one of the best we've had and everything else tasted great! Would prefer for the place to be a bit cleaner but it's understandable due to its high demand. The staff was really friendly and fast. I will recommend this place and visit again.
Nice restaurant, cosy feel but with plenty of tables across different levels. Lobster Ravioli was delicious, what a dish! Great focaccia too. Beware of the desserts, they are huge and amazing so you can't stop yourself from overeating and feeling fat. It will be worth it though.
The food was average; the service was average yet the service charge was over £20. Behind my seat was a door for the staff to enter and leave and I was moving and blowing cold air as the staff entered and left the restaurant throughout my meal. Very bad dining experience.
Hands down the worst meal on this 2 week trip to Scotland. I should have known better when I ordered a cappuccino and was told the coffee machine was broke. An Italian restaurant with a broken coffee machine. Really? The lady taking names and seating people was rude. The food didn't taste fresh. The meatballs on Sam's pizza were not only bland but hard and rubbery. Definitely not fresh. Neither of us finished our meals. The only reason you get 2 stars is our server was extremely friendly.
Have eaten here a few times. Always nice food, good atmosphere and attentive service. A lot of the waiters are Italian and it adds to the authenticity Will be back again for sure. They also do good value for money meal deals
A small cosy and very charming Italian restaurant. The food is delicious, as if I were in Italy, lots of choice. The service was also great and especially Mrs Elizabeth - she was bursting with positive energy. I highly recommend
