Great atmosphere and owner is super nice. Food was goid toi
Very nice meal. Ordered a t-bone for two and the meat was very tender. The chips were also nice and crispy. Do not come here expecting a pizzeria, it would be a real waste. This restaurant has so much more to offer. At the time of writing this, the atmosphere was nice as well due to a well placed Christmas tree. Definitely a good place for a fancier family night out. The price is very affordable. I've also seen a previous comment mentioning that the plates were cold and there was no ice in the glasses and I can say that both these things are untrue so I guess they listen to feedback as well, which is always nice to see.
I came here with my father for a bite to eat before visiting the Sipsmith distillery. It was a really friendly atmosphere and the food and beer! was outstanding! We had to rush off for the distillery tour, so we said we'd be back for desert later. Which we did in fact do. It was a very pleasant way to finish the evening.
You will not be disappointed. Great authentic homemade food and atmosphere. Giuseppe the Manager was very attentive and professional. Would definitely recommend for those who love Italian food. Will be back soon. Thank you
The restaurant had a bit of a strange odour - like the bathroom disinfectant had drifted upstairs, but that wore off and was quickly replaced by the aromas of an absolutely superb meal. The gamberoni mussels starter was terrific, and the pasta and pizza were really fresh, tender, and light - service was excellent and eager to please, and the maitre d' was really helpful with his recommendations. The house red was also medium-bodied and went well with everything we tried. Will definitely return to this neighbourhood spot.
First time I have been to the restaurant since it has been under new management. What can I say... Fantastic food, new friendly staff who went the extra mile to make a few changes to my dish. Amazing atmosphere and vibe, would highly recommend!!
Starter - trio crostini, delicious** while a simple starter it was very tasty the chicken liver pate was exceptional.. Main - Stone Bass from the specials menu not over priced and very well cooked so many chefs can over cook a fish like stone bass and the seasoning was perfect. All of the food fresh and home cooked The staff are very welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere i would recomend this Gem along chiswick road to anyone. Of all of the places i have eaten in hammersmith and chiswick over the last 2 weeks this place has them beaten. The wine by the glass is exceptional and the food outstanding. I will be returning
Really nice looking restaurant, but incompetent service and very very ordinary food. The best thing about this place was the wine. The food was better when it was Cafe Piccolo, and Cafe Piccolo was pretty terrible as well IMO.
The food was good but served on cold plates. It was cold before we got half way through our meal. Tap water was served without ice. Small things that would have made a difference to the whole experience. Service was good.
Very tasty, authentic food and very friendly staff. They have fresh, home-made pasta. Make sure you order something with that and you won't be disappointed.
