First time here and wow, what a fabulous lunch! Faultless, friendly service and impeccable food from the 2-course lunch menu for about £18pp. And a tiramisu for dessert with two spoons. A very easy 5 stars on all counts. Thank you very much and we shall be back again soon!
Wow! This restaurant is an absolute gem! So glad we found it. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is lovely, clean, spacious and clearly well maintained. The menu is concise, but do not let that put you off, what they do offer is fantastic quality, from starters to dessert, by far one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. One of our daughters was made a pizza in the shape of a bear, she thought it was the best pizza ever! The choice of drinks was huge. My strawberry daiquiri was so good. Would highly recommend and would most definitely return should we be in the area again!

We cannot stop talking about this place. The food, the amazing service, the ambience.. We called to book the restaurant a few hours before and was greeted by a friendly Italian gentleman on the phone. He was very accommodating. We got there on time and walked in to this beautiful stone-walled restaurant and was showed our table. Basket of bread while we looked at the menu in our hands and on the walls. The staff would personally vouch for dishes, and they did not disappoint. I just love the environment and this "family feels". The food was so good, my partner who cannot stand seafood had the mussels, and we could not get enough of the food and desserts. An accidental blessing!!!
An absolutely fantastic place for lunch/dinner. Good value for money. A wide variety of Italian cuisine is available on the menu. all of which is freshly prepared with outstanding quality brought to the customer on the dish. Fantastic place for lunch/dinner.
One word- Yummy! The food is delicious, the staff are really nice and overall I'd say it's just a great place in general! It's more expensive than other restaraunts but it's worth it as the food is 100 times better. I recommend pasta!

Great place, excellent food and service, lovely atmosphere. This was our first visit to Il Vecchio under its current ownership we came several times when it was The Old Cottage and we'll certainly be back.Food: 5/5
