We have been today and was allowed to take our little dog in with us.the service was exceptional and the food exquisite.the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable.the menu is not massive but this reflects in the time spent producing your food.cant wait to return and try more of the menu.truely lovely food and drink.regards.

I have recently visited this restaurant  for lunch and another time for a coffee and cake . Although not cheap we had the soup each that came with nice bread and  French butter and was piping hot and a very generous portion . And it was quite busy too. I had a portion of quiche Lorraine that is actually baked without a crust and is a speciality that they seem to do there which came with a delicious dressed salad and a lovely potato salad and all was  a generous portion too . My partner had the really deliciously tasting meatballs which were some of the best I have ever tasted too, they came with polenta.,and that was a very generous portion too. And we had a delicious Americano coffee each which came with a choice of hot milk and a generous cup size which was nice and hot and it all made for a nice lunch as it was very cold out! And the service was excellent and attentive too. And there is a toilet too. So the total bill came to £ 33 pounds. Which for lunch isn't cheap but would be for a special occasion lunch and I would recommend this establishment to anyone and they do a "special"s board too. And we went after that for  coffee and cake the following  week! And I had an absolutely delicious "sunshine cake" that was an orange sponge with lemon curd filling and frosting coating that wasn't thin but nice and thick! And my partner had a delicious pear and chocolate cake that was equally lovely too and a lovely Americano coffee again each. And that was £10 . 40.p for both of us.,and it was quite busy again too and a great find and that was in the last 2 weeks and can't wait to go again.! And they are open in the evening and I can't wait to try that menu as well! So I have given this establishment a 5 star rating!
