This restaurant‘a pizzas and pastas, wines and sweets were perfect! Food was reasonable price and delicious. Bottle wines were little expensive but tasted so gorgeous. Staffs there were so kind! I love them! I really recommend you to go there at least once if you are in London!
Love, love, love their pizzas! So delicious! I can eat them every day! Sorry, I couldn't find a photo of the pizza! Their homemade pastas are also good! I love the restaurant decor as well. Very warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Shout out to Megan who served us 2 times! We've been there 4 times already!
Dining out on Wednesday night after dropping the big boy off for cadets has become a new routine at our house and this tonight the little guy felt like having pasta. Faintly remembered seeing a sign for Italian pasta on Richmond, we ventured over to give it a try. The main dining room is full when we arrive so we get to have the downstairs room all to ourselves for the first little bit. Like how cozy and intimate that is but getting someone to help with things can be slightly more difficult, luckily everything came as expected so there is nothing to complaint about. The pasta dishes we ordered are freshly prepared and tasted very wholesome. Felt like the lower level will be a great place to host an intimate party.
We’ve ordered on Uber Eats countless times and I was excited for my first dine in experience. Beautiful restaurant with private, spacious booths. We have always loved the Gnocchi, Buratta one of London’s best, Arugula Salad and Margherita Pizza by delivery. Highly recommend all of these items. We tried the Caprese Salad, Arugula Salad and Parma Pizza tonight - I would order everything again. Our server was lovely - the restaurant was busy with delivery orders and when our salads took 30 minutes to arrive, she apologized and they were removed from the bill without us prompting them, which is solid and appreciated. Worth the wait because they were absolutely delish. We will be back - consistently amazing and points for unique vibe!
I believe that was the best pizza that I had in Canada. Wooden fire oven, perfect pizza size, and amazing taste! The staff was friendly and helpful. I really recommend this place if you enjoy authentic Italian pizza.
Went solo at 5:45 pm on a weekday, drop-in. They fit me in, but apparently making a reservation is safer because they are currently quite popular---phone rang lots, delivery drivers in and out the door, 6 active tables by the time I left. Food: I ordered the Cotto e Funghi pizza---lovely hand-made thin crust with tasty deli meats and fresh mushrooms and basil. Felt light, and yet I took some leftovers home great portion! I would have added some garlic and a pinch of salt. Service: very polite, attentive and timely---I noticed that all the servers were well-dressed and well-spoken. They accommodated my one request and anticipated my need for a box I didn't even have to ask, my thoughtful server Megan B just brought one over. The space: classic, tidy, vintage décor, looks expensive hardwood, exposed brick, metal-framed or stained glass. Various-sized tables and booths. Huge, clean, comfortable washrooms with double entrances. High ceiling at front, great sound system, two indoor bars. Other: they have daily specials. Italian branding/art pieces/wording/music/touches. 6 TVs in the front, no TVs for more intimacy in the back. They also have an upstairs patio but it wasn't warm a warm enough day, so I didn't see it. Another detail I liked was the volume level can definitely have a conversation and the mid-to-low lighting warm flood lights. Will be back with friends/family :
Amazing experience. The servers are nice and the $12 pies with 1/2 price wine on Wednesday nights after 10 pm are now nothing but a new tradition for the boys. Ambiance is fine, and the food was stellar. Pizzas eaten: Abruzzese, Calzone Classico, Cotto E Funghi, Al Pollo
You can get any pizza with just $14 every Tuesday. Pizzas are scrumptious. The pizza oven in the centre of the restaurant tones up the atmosphere. Beautiful ambiance for dates. If you want to sit on the patio, you might have to make a reservation. Creme Brûlée is flavourful and so is Tiramisu.
The foods are delicious and not so pricey. Quality of food is worth of money. But the service is too bad. We have made reservations twice but when we came, the server downstairs have no idea about the reservation upstairs and he said there was no table left as well as there is no available server. So what is the meaning of making reservation beforehand? And it happened twice. So disappointed
More than just a dine in restaurant. La Cucina is a great option for delivery pizzas in downtown London. Their Neapolitan style pizzas I ordered were BuffalinaBuffalo mozzarella and Paesanameat lovers and were both really good. Difference was the San Marzano tomato sauce which gave the simple dishes incredible flavour. The order definitely arrived on the colder side and the dish itself is best enjoyed fresh but a quick couple of minutes in the toaster oven did the trick.
