We have eaten here a few times and every time we are impressed.. Its just Pizza, but wow these are great pizza's.. Luckily we live 5 minutes walk away, but if we didn't we would make the effort.. Amazing place, great service, nothing overly fancy, just great great pizza.Food: 5/5
Went here on a Sunday and although the restaurant was not full the service was very slow. It took 20 minutes for our order to be taken from when we sat down. When our drinks finally came after 40 mins and a reminder They were the wrong ones and had to be sent back. Our cold starter came out over an hour later and then finally our pizza came out over an hour after we ordered it. After this long waiting I was expecting the food to be great. It wasn't. It was a cheap dinner around £35 for a starter, pizza and 2 drinks but don't go if you're in a rush. They added a service charge of 12.5% and our waiter was happy to take this off the bill for us - normally I would pay this, but with the huge wait I deffinetly wasn't.
A lovely little restaurant. Friendly and efficient service, delicious home made Italian pizzas. You feel as though you are in Italy!
Disappointment is my first reaction to delivered food. The restaurant it self is great however the food quality in delivery is unforgivably lowered. Our order also got delayed by nearly 20 min with 2 drivers cancelling it before it was ready for pick up. Might still go in person however online order never again. If owner does care to read this, only advice is to not bite what you cant chew. If it's a busy night, maintain your standard or else just don't do delivery in certain hours. Sad is the outcome that arrives on other end.
Amazing Pizzas, however the cocktails are something to be desired. I ordered one but unfortunately was presented with a tiny amount in the bottom of the glass with lots of foam at the top see picture. When they asked how my drink was I was honest and told the waiter for almost 9 pounds I expected more of it. He said that was the size they provided and he couldnt do anything about it which I accepted. Later when I was waiting to use their toilet the barman actually came up to me and said 'you don't like my pina colada?" Which made me feel quite uncomfortable and I didn't feel was necessary. Usually when staff ask their customers questions they should be made to feel comfortable enough to give feedback. A real shame as they have a proper oven to stonebake your pizzas and otherwise my experience was fairly pleasant.
The pizza was nice :- , however we were charged £80 for two kids pizzas, 1 salad and 1 cotoletta, 2 small glass of house wine. the place is not authentic italian and it was dirty toilet door with brown filthy areas of where people touch to open, bad smell also the whole place was messy dirty glass and empty bottles everywhere and we had to stand up twice to get a spare fork or a side plate. expensive for what it is, we should have paid no more than £65-70.
This places is amazing, especially during lockdown. When the weathers nice you can collect a pizza and eat it in the park opposite! So nice!!
Very delicious and large starters! We stopped randomly for a late dinner and will definitely be back. Definitely recommend. We didn’t try the pizzas it they had an impressive selection.
