Popped into this restaurant for a beer on the way back. Definitely quirky and a warm feeling to the place. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The beer tastes really good and they have a high food hygiene rating. The beer garden is really nice. The grass is kept to a high standard and the children’s play area is epic. Great for the kids while you enjoy a beer in the garden. Will be stopping by here for some food next time.

During our stay in one of the nearby villages we were looking for somewhere nice to eat that didn’t have an early closing time. We settled on this restaurant/pub and were really impressed, the food tasted great and the staff were very friendly and efficient. It was a friday evening and the place was bustling, you can tell it is a popular establishment.

Visited there last night for a family birthday celebration. We were given our own private area which was great. The food choice and quality was amazing, all beautifully presented and hot.nEven more impressive were the staff who went out of their way to make us welcome. They were all so friendly and so patient with our party. Shame I don't live locally or I'd be a regular in no time!nI would highly recommend!

I enjoyed the evening immensely, but the sirloins steak was the worst ever. Like trying to eat a ball of baler twine dipped in gravy. Don’t risk the boat for a hapeth of tar. I’d definitely go back, but not for a sirloin.

Lovely meal with friends. First time visiting. Confident and engaging staff. Food was really good. Calzone was top of the mains. Will 100% be returning
