As beautiful as my dress was unfortunately it smelt like damp on collection which was 48 hrs before my wedding day. From the moment I sat in the car with it in the back seat it was very noticeable and even my kids commented on the stench. During the next 48 hours, I had to hang my dress at my sons bedroom window with the windows wide open and used practically a whole bottle of fabreeze with a mix of perfume spraying every two hours throughout the next 2 days and nights. The smell was that overpowering his room also started to smell. I had hundreds of things to do prior to my wedding and this just made me even more stressed.  There was no way I was going to walk down the aisle, smelling this way.  I put the dress cover in the garden to air out as there was no way my dress was going back inside the bag!  To my surprise it rained the second night and the dress cover was unusable, so I ended up having to put my wedding dress in a black bin liner on the day of my wedding to take to the venue as you. This was very frustrating and I was very upset about this and the smell despite the dress being steamed too; not to mention that during this period I had my son sleeping downstairs on the floor for 2 nights as it hung on his blinds draped over his bed, with the windows wide open. It’s been weeks and I am still yet to hear back from my texts and emails so leaving this review.  What is ironic is my £250 Vail smelt of perfume on collection as if had already been worn - or they sprayed it because they knew it smelt

La Belle was always my first choice, ever since being a young girl I was always mesmerised by their window display. The staff were very friendly and accommodating the minute I stepped through the door. I found my dream dress on my first appointment, having other shops lined up after, I immediately cancelled and was extremely happy with the service in helping me find my dress. Their in-house seamstress was lovely and made me feel comfortable throughout my fittings. I had so many compliments on my dress, and will 100% recommend La Belle everywhere I go. Thank you again for all your hard work!

Awful service once they have money from you. Really poor communication, no care in the world once you've spent money there. My veil came in and was ripped, so I was told I'd be ordered another one straight away. Chased 2 weeks later, no response. They left it to the seamstress to tell me about it! 2 weeks later I'm chasing again and I get married in less than 40 days. I haven't even been able to do a trial hair style with my veil yet! I'm disgusted.

Went here with my 2 daughters which 1 of them picked her beautiful dress. Sharon was so helpful and made us fill so relaxed and saved the best till last.

I cannot recommend this boutique enough, I felt so welcome from the minute I walked in. Sam was beyond amazing, she took the time to really listen to me, she was exactly what I needed as my journey of trying to find my dream dress had left me overwhelmed and deflated and honestly I thought I was being to fussy. Sam gave me a different outlook on everything and made me feel like this was day one, to put everything else that had passed behind me and enjoy this experience with her. She went more than above and beyond and made me feel extremely special, after a few dresses we tried I stepped into the most stunning gown and that feeling of finding ‘the one’ happened. I can’t wait to wear it on my special day. I want to thank Sam from the bottom of my heart for her kindness, honesty, patience and having such a warm and gentle nature. Thank you for everything and finding my dream dress xx

Had an amazing appointment Thursday with Michelle and Chloe. The girls throughly know everything there is to know about bridal. Myself and my family was welcomed with some refreshments at the start of my appointment. My appointment was relaxed and I am pleased to say I said YES to the dress and can not wait to come in again. Thank you for making my appointment so special ladies. x

This was the first dress shop I went to and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. Was greeted by a nice lady and was shown upstairs, we were then left for 15mins before another staff member came upstairs. She seemed like she didn't really want to be there, made me get in the dresses myself, and told me I was only allowed to try on five dresses in total and that I had to choose one out of those. I asked to try on a dress from the manikin but was told I had to choose one from the five I'd originally picked even though I had more than 30mins of my appointment time left I was then told I would get a discount on the dress I liked best out of the five, but only if I bought and paid for it in full that day or the next. It's a real shame as the shop has some beautiful dresses. I didn't buy my dress from here, instead I purchased it from a lovely shop that gave me and my mum a wonderful bridal experience that every bride deserves.

Well well well what can I say......... Would not recommend this bridal shop for your first experience ever in a wedding dress shop. The womendid not get her name, asked me what style I liked, what size i am and how much am I willing to spend, I answered her to the best of my ability, I didnt have a clue what style I liked, she picked 4 dresses out for me, trying every dress on, they didn't fit me and basically they don't cater for big people and wanted me to pick a dress what didnt fit me because it would fit when I had fittings, I felt mortified and told the women that I'm on a diet anyways, she said she doesnt advise women to lose weight after they had their last fitting, when I mentioned that, all I heard was go on a weight lost journey and  come back in a couple of months, she booked another appointment for October, she advised me not to go to another wedding dress shop until I've been on this weight lost journey. Her colleague came in when I was getting ready and again this women mentioned to her colleague about my weight lost journey. After getting dressed I went towards the desk and heard the 2 women whispering which made me feel uncomfortable and I knew that was talking about me so we booked another appointment and I left feeling fat and disheartened. I've cancelled the appointment and will not set foot in there again even if that means wearing a bin  bag on my body.  This was Saturday and I wasn't going to leave a review but I've been thinking about the bad experience I've had and now I'm dreading trying another wedding dress on, what should have been a exciting day turned out to be a nightmare.  I should have seen the red flags when she first opened the door, wasn't a very warn welcome. I'm glad most of you had a good experience, my face certainly didn't fit. Horrible horrible place

The first time entering La Belle Boutique in Sutton in Ashfield I was welcomed by michelle the owner. This was my first dress shop appointment and was very excited to be trying on dresses! I fell in love with a dress and purchased, customer service was good, we was offered drinks and was accommodated. I decided to purchase my bridesmaid dresses from Labelle boutique for ease of having to go anywhere else and I trusted the quality would be satisfactory, again my bridesmaid dress shopping experience was good, offered drinks, good customer service once again by michelle. Fast forward to the bridesmaid fitting and this is where the customer service was completely non existent.. Michelle was no longer present at anymore fittings/appointments, instead Michelle’s sister who knows absolutely nothing about the job was there. It’s very obvious she is incompetent because every question I asked she did not know the answer too, it was very frustrating. No refreshments were offered at any more appointments , very obvious it was because they had already had the money so they were no longer interested in customer service, attitudes were very frosty and no longer welcoming when I questioned the quality of the bridesmaid dresses, which I had every right to because of the shear size and quality they came in. They were not cheap! Bridesmaid dress for my youngest daughter was 5 inches out of the chest area, the dress was a size 10 women’s and she’s 12 years old and a size 4 in women’s. I was maid to feel like it was my fault and Michelle took no accountability what so ever. Bridesmaid dress for my oldest daughter had a faulty zip right from opening the bridesmaid dress in Labelle Boutique dressing room, I was told this would be fixed. On my wedding day we had to use body tape to make the dress look backless because the zip would not work! I have stressed this to Michelle through messages and have requested she either replace the zip or provide a partial refund and she has completely ignored me. When my wedding dress was ready to try on at my final fitting Michelle didn’t contact me to go back and try it on in the boutique, my mother and other family members had to sit in the seamstress’s back changing room and see me in my dress there. It was so upsetting to say the least that my wedding dress shopping was so unpleasant and upsetting. I will never get to do this again and Labelle Boutique have robbed me of these memories that I should treasure. Please do not buy from this shop you will very much regret it.
