Unfortunately we did not enjoy our meal at La barra. The empanada had nice flavour but it was reheated in a microwave so the texture was all wrong. It was like eating a piece of rubber. The picada was bad. Pretty much all meats were very overcooked. The beef was almost impossible to chew. The Dominican fried chicken had nice flavour but it was so overcooked that it was too dry.
Food Quality Service Ambience Price If you are looking for a proper Colombian experience that not only involves the food but also the vibe and the people, this is the place. A small restaurant with an overall pretty simple but very authentic Colombian vibe. When we went, there was live music for a birthday, which made it even more authentic. The food was great rated by my Colombian friend, very generous sizes we ended up taking a lot of leftovers away! and incredibly cheap eating without limit and having a couple of shots costed us 17£ each. We had arepas, empanadas and a big tray full of grilled meat. The service was friendly and laid back. A bit distracted but I guess it comes with the vibe. Lovely place, truly authentic we were the only non Colombians and great prices! Will surely go back!

The place is small and tidy, and following the social distance guidance. The service was great and friendly, and the food was the best Colombian cuisine I ever had in London. I will come back for sure
Great little place with brilliant food. The portions are really big and we brought some of it home to eat later. The soup was hearty and was packed with flavour and come with a variety of side dishes. Worth checking out for a cheap and wholesome meal.
Saturday late lunch at La Barra. Place was fully but got a table directly. Staff was very busy but friendly and helpful. Better to speak Spanish. The place is a little trip to Columbia as it’s full of Latinos but still you feel welcome. Ordered the Pica Pollo small version which is 5 pieces of Dominican fried chicken comes with Bofes fried pork belly, fried plantain and salad no, the salad isn’t fried haha. Well, I must admit it does sound simple but it tastes amazingly good. Not to greasy and there a perfect balance between spices and batter. Highly recommend the dish and for £12 ... come on ! Don’t forget to ask for chilly sauce and slice of lemon. Will come back to try other dishes because from what I could see behind plexiglass shield the other table looked ridiculously appealing !

Very good service, super friendly staff! We were a big group and they were attentive and kind to us all. The value for money was incredible. Got so muchhhh food for such a great price. Delicious food. Highly recommend.
