I love this shop since I moved to Liverpool. Very big variety of loose veg and fruit. Some are expensive but it's okay. You can find products for African cuisine, Indian, rumanian, Chinese, Bulgarian and other else. Also I love the butcher corner with fresh and I would say good price meat. Bakery and dessert corner is also a good with delicious baklava sweets and cakes are also nice. You are my favourite shop.
An amazing shop just on my doorstep, I love the fresh and varied foodstuffs. Fresh baked breads, an amazing butchers whom sell non halal meat also, and the bakery is to die for! The cakes are mind-blowing. Just be careful with the fruit and vegetables outside as I have seen the birds climbing over them when the shop attendant is not there, so wash the fruit and vegetables thoroughly.
I always get what I need here. Very fresh produce. Really extensive selection of fresh, chilled and frozen food. The fresh bakery and hot food is a hidden gem. I bulk purchase my spice and rice here and the price is very competitive. Staff A+++
I used to live in Turkey and missed the food after moving home. Then I found this place! I'm here every week stocking up on my favourites and I love it. It's great for Indian and Asian bits too, and the fresh bread is delicious :
Prices can be expensive but if you want international food, you have to pay for it! Some of the fruit and vegetables can be at the last stage of freshness so need to be careful what you pick. Large range of Eastern, Mediterranean and Oriental foods, as well as meats and snacks. Good place to visit.
I like to drop by to pick up some fresh samosas 4 for £1. Large busy food market, lots of interesting food/drink from around the world. Definitely worth a visit to see what they have to offer. Check out their cakes. Large, busy car park.
I bought 4 packs of bread today as I had guests but when I opens the packages and all of the breads were mouldy. Very disappointed.
We live nearby and this market has become my go-to market for fresh fruit and vegetables. You can get wonderful ripe peaches, mangoes, apples, and everything else here. The store itself inside definitely has a Middle Eastern vibe to it so you won't find everything you're looking for, but you'll find anything that you can't get elsewhere. For example, I can't leave the store without picking up a freshly made Turkish pizza gozleme and some fantastic sesame bread.
Guys please read this. I’m a shop keeper in Wigan myself and I sell ‘country life’ 250g block butter for £2 as it recommended retail price and here it’s £3.19 ! Please wake up ! Kings curry powder 900g pack is £11.99 but on the same road at pothihai srilankan ethnic shop sells them for £9.49 !! Only thing you can buy in this place cheaper is mutton £5.99 a kilo and you know why that’s because there are 60% of bone and 20% fat rest are meat . Please wake up and stop supporting this day robbery place. I want to write a bit more but I would swear if I do. Thank you
Since I moved to Liverpool from London I was worried about finding a decent halal meat store, well my concern was quickly over!!!. This place is brilliant, literally has everything you could want, spices, tinned items desi , daals, fresh fruit/veg. Also halal sweets
