I was sent to Lanehouse for an urgent appointment as my own surgery could not find me in. I was greeted by a very nice receptionist, wait a very short time before being called in.the doctor asked if I minded another lady was there. I did not mind. The examination was very thorough and assured me that I was not waisting their time. I was the told I would fast tracked to the hospital. I had a call from the hospital this morning. My experience was excellent, I cannot thank you enough./
Don't know why there are such things as Doctor's Surgery's now. No-one answers the phone anymore and they don't really want to book appointments or anything. Have to do e-consults which last time I did took 3 attempts before I had a response. Good job it turned out to be something not harmful otherwise I could be dead now! I will be moving in the new year so will be changing surgeries too. I like many others have paid for this service yet getting none. Trying to book a booster jab and even that doesn't seem important to anyone.
Cannot give no stars but would if it were possible. My mother simply cannot get her prescription which is supposed to be on repeat. Despite calls in and assistance from 3rd parties such as hospital clinics and auxiliary service providers, nothing.
Been trying to get an appointment for over a week yet no one can be bothered to answer the phone. What’s the point in having a surgery if you can’t even get an appointment
Very poor service. Telephone appts not kept by the GP. Resistance to prescribing needed treatments and dismissive and cursory resonses from reception staff.
