Sadly this surgery is probably much like others now and has gone downhill. I fully expect it's because of years of underfunding by the past government. However the receptionist team are rude - especially the manager. The website is a nightmare to use. It used to be so easy and had information you could access. But now many functions that were available that were helpful for example to check when an appointment is simply are unavailable now.nIf you ever manage to get an appointment which in itself is only a small possibility the doctors are lovely, helpful and caring.nIf they got rid of the surgery manager this place would probably improve.
This place is brilliant!!nWe moved to Weymouth just over a year ago and registered with the Cross Road Practice. Being older people we have had to use their services a few times now, but every time I or my partner has needed help we have received it very professionally and promptly. Every member of staff has been so kind, so caring and happy to help. The e-consult service is very efficient and their triage system works really well. They have certainly helped us!!nI am so glad we registered here.nI know there has been some criticism of some GP practices in social media and where we lived before the service wasn't very good, but the Cross Road Surgery goes well above and beyond in our experience.nThank you to everyone who works there.
Receptionists are extremely rude and hang up on you and doctors now send texts as diagnoses it’s appalling. And you can’t even complain to anyone because they think they are nhs Hero’s when they are far far from any type of hero.All they do is give useless tablets and told to go away nhs is a disaster
I moved to Cross Road Surgery because it had really good reviews and my previous doctor’s were absolutely terrible. This is by far the best surgery I have attended. They don’t just fob you off, they help. The staff are lovely and my doctor really listens to me. Glad I chose this surgery for me and my family.
Saw my Dr for only the second time today and he is brilliant. Listened assessed and helped in a kind but direct fashion. Probably my favourite Dr thus far at this surgery.
