Messed about so badly for a headlight bulb !! I’m disabled and have a mobility car and Kwik fit are supposed to do the maintenance. One of my front headlight bulbs had gone so I rang on Monday and was told to call in any time on Tuesday. I went up on Tuesday and was told it would be at least an hour before they could do it. So I asked if I could just go back in an hour and was told I’d have to leave the car. It’s a mobility car, I can’t go anywhere without it. That’s the point of the car !! He then said he could make me an appointment for Thursday. So I went back again on Thursday and after them messing about for 10-15 minutes I was told they couldn’t do it and I would need to take the car to the dealers over an hour each way to the nearest dealer. They said they would have to take the bumper off to change a headlight ???? and they couldn’t do it. I’ve ended up going to Halfords where they changed the bulb for me within 5 minutes. At this time of year working headlights are essential. I really hope motability review using kwik fit for repairs as this is not the first time I’ve been messed about by them.

A week ago I bought a set of tires for my car through KF. With an assembly service today that's what suited me. When I pulled up today at the appointed time, I found out that the equipment was broken and they were waiting for an engineer to fix it for them. No information beforehand. There is also no question of transferring my tires to another branch.

Ordered a tyre at 10pm last night after checking my tyres before a journey and discovering some attention was needed, it was fitted at 8:30am!! Colin was energetic and refreshing, great customer service.  I always heard bad things about Kwik Fit nightmares, but now feel bad! Tyre was a good price and great friendly service! Thank you Colin and his fitter who I didn't get the name of!

I was unlucky in getting a puncture this afternoon the day before going away and initially phoned a local garage I have used before only to be met with a rather gruff "too busy". I then phoned your Castleford Branch with a degree of hesitation as I often have had poor service from  larger chains and what an unbelievable difference. The gentleman I spoke to could not have been more friendly or helpful, got me booked in straight away and advised me to set off for them immediately. The fantastic service continued in branch, with a professional yet friendly attitude. I went for a short walk and was telephoned 20 minutes later to be informed all was done. Again the outstanding service continued and whilst I was very relieved to be back on the road it was the attitude of your colleges in store that I was so impressed with. As an ex customer service manager retail for many years I can honestly say this was one of the best examples of superb customer service I have encountered and the gentlemen in question are absolute heroes for your company. My sincere thanks to you all.

Excellent service and staff.   Rocked up unannounced with & dealt with it there and then.  Would highly recommend Castleford branch.  Great people.

Used twice both times I took my car in for a simple tyre or oil change and they ring up adding other stuff to the list. I was told they can't turn the warning light off unless I paid another £50. The price went from £89 to £437. The happy friendly welcome is an act. Use local independent garages. These places are just out to make money, I learnt that the hard way.

We ended up having to use quickfit due to contracts but got to say the lads down there were good honest guys. Did a great job and will being using this branch all the time now.

Great service from Colin and his team. Repaired my tyre saved me a lot of money. They could easily of just sold me a tyre but they repaired my own . Nice to deal with someone who gives great service, gives an honest opinion and can be absolutely trusted to do the best for you. Thank you. It is true you just can not get better than a Kwik fit fitter
