My first experience of Kurdish food. Overall, it was a very good and enjoyable meal. Chicken liver was cooked to perfection. The bean soup and okra side dishes were both very nice, served with freshly made bread. The service was friendly and fast. However, the establishment has a very small seating area and is exceptionally busy on Saturdays, so expect a long queue. Prices are very very cheap, which is reflected in the queues for both eat-in and takeaways.
Delicious! Chickpea/lamb soup is amazing. Friendly staff. All the food on the pic was only 18 pounds
Best budget Kurdish food in central London, famous with soups and grilled Kurdish dishesFood: 5/5
Delicious breakfast will come back in sha Allah. Had the lentil soup, cheese, egg with minced meat, tea and naan
Very salty food. Just went in as thee we were seats available. Staff friendly and helpful. Place was very dirty, would not recommend as the food wasn't good.
Simply the best food - Iraqi Kurdistan cuisine. Lamb skewers, freshly made bread, hommous, friendly and honest staff, clean. An institution and must stop from someone who eats a lot of middle eastern food and a local not a tourist. Great stop when visiting Church St Markets.
Tried the chicken sandwich. Can't go wrong for £3 for a freshly baked flat bread and salad rolled inside. Tasty and would recommend to all.
What a great find , never had Kurdistan food be for , had the soup and bread , boy was that fantastic , took home some bread , you have to wait for some time as it's not very big inside ,but well worth it ,
Maybe the best Middle Eastern cuisine in the UK? We had a lentil soup which was homemade and absolutely amazing with the fresh baked bread from the oven. For the main, we had cauliflower and aubergine as well as chicken. Everything tastes authentic, not to oily or salty. In total we paid 11£ and the bread is refilled for free as much as you want.
Very friendly and delicious breakfast here lol Food: 5/5
