I have dealt with Kronos on several occasions over recent years. Their selection of products offered are first class. The customer service I have received has been excellent. Their November sale offering 10% off everything is in my experience unusual in the hi-fi industry where deals are often confined to products a business is keen to shift. Anyway I got several quality cables at excellent prices, including a swap up to a higher spec cable for the same price when the one I had ordered was not available. Thanks David.
Abysmal communication and customer care, can't possibly recommend. Ordered in April 2021 and they've never sent me the item I bought and won't provide me with my refund. Ordered Grado SR-80e online believing these were in stock as they weren't marked otherwise and was told the next day that they were awaiting stock but it had been delayed a couple of times. Queried over the next 5 months mostly through their online contact form but got no response until I finally got around to calling them in October and was told that Grado weren't making SR80es anymore and had moved onto the SR80x lineup, was asked if I wanted to go for those instead where I said no and asked for a refund. A month later no refund received, called again in November and the refund hadn't been put through and the order was confirmed cancelled. I've been chasing the refund since and neither paypal or the bank will chase due to the date, the only response to this was they have tried to process the refund but claimed that paypal were blocking it. I eventually ignored when I offered to get the refund as store credit when inquiring how to this would be done and got no response to the potential for paying the extra £20 difference to get the SR80x despite the fact that I could have gotten them elsewhere for less than the £109 I originally spent!
Edit following Kronos Reply: You have never contacted me to say that a replacement has been sent, or shared any delivery tracking details and I have never received a replacement. Frankly, I would not be wasting my time driving back and forth to your showroom in Sussex if I had!. I have already tried to contact you via email, phone, chat, in person and by mail... Please issue a refund without further delay, Original Review: Zero after-sales service, impossible to contact to anyone. This is what Kronos say on their website: "Being a family business with a very tight knit staff means you aren't getting passed about from department to department when you need advice or help resolving a problem. You get to speak to the same person through your buying experience and your after sales service". Unfortunately, this is not my experience. These are the facts, you can decide whether they just talk the talk or actually walk the walk.... It all started off pretty well, no complaints about the online order and delivery process. Order #6774 Unfortunately, a fault developed a few months later... I tried to contact the support@ email Jan 22... I received the automatic zendesk support confirmations but, no actual response. I tried calling... there is some kind of outsourced phone answering service handy if you dont want to talk to customers! who said to me they cant put customers through and have been told to just take messages - nobody ever called me back. Tried on-line chat - nada! As I live fairly close to the Sussex branch, I drove over to the showroom to see what could be done March 22. The guys there were very friendly and not at all surprised to hear about the woeful customer service in NI. They took in the amp receipt no. 47 with a view to see what was wrong with it and, as it was under warranty, either repair, replace or refund and told me that I really should have bought it from them directly and not online from the NI branch - who knew?... weeks went by, I heard nothing. So, I travelled back again to the Sussex showroom to see what was happening. I was told they had sent the unit back to the Northern Ireland HQ some time before and that they should have been in touch to arrange a replacement or refund... given that mere mortals cant seem to get in touch with HQ, they kindly committed to call the NI office and chase it up. A few more weeks have now passed... still nothing! So now I am in a situation where Kronos AV have had the unit back for 3 months and there is zero sign of anything actually happening. I think after 6 months of trying to sort it, I have been reasonably patient. I wrote to the NI registered office suggesting that this was unacceptable and that I really must insist on a refund... you guessed it, no reply! Looking at previous poor reviews, I now expect to see a long reply explaining how it is not their fault, they answer emails, they answer phone calls, etc, etc... Anyway, I am now left with no choice other than to take legal action to recover my money plus the legal fees. All a bit sad - I am sure life does not need to be this hard...
Horrendous experience dealing with this business. Ordered a system for £300, delivery never showed up for weeks. Courier claimed to have attempted delivery and said I wasn't home - a lie as I have been working from home since March. Seller took no responsibility in chasing up with his courier where the order was, and lacked complete understanding as to why I was anxious as to where my order was weeks after handing over money. When the order eventually arrived, it had been completely damaged, and had parts missing that should have been included. Seller claimed these shouldn't have been included, but a simple search of the product on the manufacturers website clearly states these parts are meant to come with the system. System was not fully working when tested at home, and the speaker cable provided was not suitable for this system, presumably why it wasn't working. Sent back for a refund, via the shops choice of courier again. I packaged it up exactly as it had been when posted to me. Yet when arrived back with the seller they claim I hadn't packed it suitably and the courier had completely ruined the system. Again they placed the blame on me for this, rather than taking responsibility for their choice of courier. Even had the nerve to accuse me of not putting certain parts back in the box, which weren't even there when they arrived with me. Long story short - this business doesn't care about their customers or orders once they've received payment. No support, no responsibility taken as a business, and very very rude and threatening behaviour when a problem does arise with an order. I only got a full refund for this order after going through eBay complaints procedure, where they ruled in my favour that I was completely in the right. Simple suggestion - avoid this company at all costs!
I ordered an amplifier online and was repeatedly told via email that my order had been shipped when it had not. To make a long story short, I ordered an amplifier on a Thursday and it was supposed to be shipped on Friday the next day. However, it wasn’t actually shipped until Wednesday the tracking details show all dates and times. On a few occasions my email enquiries were ignored- until I requested a refund and then they suddenly started replying to them. Kronos also told me that I would be able to collect my parcel from a DPD collection point, but they failed to request this option from DPD when it shipped. Even after explaining to Kronos that they would have to activate the collection point option, they didn’t fix it. So I had to take time off from work to be home when DPD arrived. Also, after I ordered the amplifier online, I received an email saying that the colour I ordered was discontinued. I guess this wasn’t too big of a problem, but a specialty shop like Kronos should know the current models. My purchase with Kronos should have been pleasant and simple, yet I found my experience to be very stressful and worrying. Kronos may respond to this review and say that their email system malfunctioned or maybe that their supplier was to blame for the delayed shipping. And they may say that I was unreasonable, but I gave them 3 opportunities to cancel my order before the item was shipped and avoid this bad review.
Sent a faulty product that I had to pay to return for a fix. It was fixed fair enough but I had to badger them for updates throughout. They have a help ticket system that is next to useless and do not respond to e-mail at all. I also emailed when they were open..not once did I get a response. Not even a case closed from theticket system in fact nothing at all after the initial case logged message. Thats poor service. I have a working product now, I'm happy enough...but I won't shop here again unfortunately, which is a shame. Now I see my serial number still appears on the stores website, years later. Not good
After some small issues with emails I'm very happy with the service I received. Richie was fantastic to work with. He helped track down the information I needed to fix my issue and confident if I need anything they are there to help. Highly recommend!! Thanks kindly for everything once again!!

I buy last year the top quality amplifier onkyo for 300£. After 6 months 1 day stop working and I bring the back for fixing.after 1 week I collect and manager said it's all ready fixed.when I come home I switch and after 1 hours again and more it's burned.i come back the shop and I want to return money or give me new but what I get it's only can by fixed again but I don't want fixed any more because I don't trust any more this company.and still have warranty 6 months left.todaday 2/7/18. I'm just getting new amplifier but I don't know him name with glasses but he can't working this shop because he start shouting my wife and front of the my children for not reason.one of my children its start cry and shaking.that man is really rude and bad.We absolutely say nothing we go way from shop and he start screaming and shaking front of the children that guy he cant working with people he is really dangerous
The team at Kronos AV are great! They care about the service they are providing as well as the end result you want to accomplish with your sound system. I cannot recommend them enough. Knowledgable and Personable.
