This is a small cafe that make’s sandwich, paninis, teas, cakes etc. Reasonably priced considering it’s open season against tourists. There is seating outside as well as in and open areas closer to the harbour. Yes one member of staff can be grumpy and gruff but on the whole it’s a nice little cafe!!
What a lovely little place. I was on my own with the two dogs, nipped in and ordered a baked potato and an obligatory cake. I sat at the tables outside and the girl behind the counter brought it out when ready. The best and the most filled BP I've had anywhere. Top marks for being dog friendly AND great food.
Staff were brilliant and nothing was an issue.. had a lovely sweet chilli panini...my good lady had a lovely fresh salad. Perfect wee place to stop at while passing through oban

I think this is probably the only time I have ever given a single star review and that is due to the terrible service. We arrived at 1115hrs and sat outside before going in to order coffee as there was no table service. We were then told "there's no milk" it was NOT busy. As we didn't want black coffee, we said we didn't mind waiting and after about 5 minutes one coffee was grudgingly slapped down on the dirty table there were 3 of us We then waited more than 5 more minutes for the other two drinks which were also slapped down. The waiter didn't check which of us had ordered the coffee and which was the hot chocolate - we had to take the lid off to work it out. When my hot chocolate arrived, it was tepid. When this was mentioned, it was huffily thrown away while they made a fresh one. When my partner asked for a cloth to wipe the table as it was very dirty he was just stared at. Once my now hot hot chocolate was brought to the table, the young man then said "can youse pay now?".I've never experienced anything like it. Terrible attitude
Chicken caesar lunchbox was absolutely delicious & very good value @ £4.50, the other 2 in my party also thoroughly enjoyed their meal.
such a horrible place to eat in oban, the staff who were so grumpy gave me chicken in my sandwich even though i stated i was vegetarian. Not usually one to leave reviews on cafes but considering how rude the staff were and how unpleasant our experience was i decided to leave this review so others know not to visit this unclean cafe
Dirty tables, and staff handled cakes with their bare hands then took money from customers. In the same week it was announced 1 in 18 had covid.
Bought a coffee and tea. Pretty sure the tea had never seen a teabag and it was actually the worst coffee I have ever drank. Weak as dishwater and what flavour there was was not coffee
Filled my very hot coffee to the brim and with the plastic top concealing it. Ended up scolding my bottom lip. Bought a cold bottle of water from Smith's to cool it down. Imagine if that was a child.
