We spent the whole day there, and still feel like need more time, so much things to do. Good price for unlimited ride, and parent rides for free. Amazing sea lion and birds show. Wish there was a tiger show too. Good number of animal during drive through, but no lion except from the distance. Only one tiger in the tiger area.
I love it here, live locally and just paid for a year membership for me and my kids so we can go as many times as we like. The kids love to drive round the safari, we go the safe route. We use their park and they have rides there which are fun and the kids are never bored. We are going to try and catch the live shows with the seals and birds and wants to walk around the zoo inside as we did it last year and haven't seen the bears yet. It's so clean and fun.
Not been since I was a kid! We really enjoyed it as a family! A lot more to it than I remember and the kids loved it! Rides etc are fairly priced as well at 2 tokens each or £12 for a day wristband! Great day out.
Had a good day for my husbands birthday, but a little disappointed at the lack of animal activity. We were there about 5 or 6 years ago same day and we saw mounds of animals there was elephant not now, the lions and tigers were out in the open right by your car. And it was so excited. But this time we didn't see and tigers in the enclosure we saw one lion from a long way off. It felt there was lots and lots of rinos and animals like gazelles but not enough of the animals that really bring the public in like the big cats you lack In.
Very nice place. We chose the Baboon bus and did very well. The driver kept informing me where we could see and my daughter was able to stick her stamp on the map she received at the reception. There was also a playground with swings and demonstrations. We spent a very enjoyable day here.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Fab day out with the teenagers on our drive through safari. Easily spend an hour driving through the various areas, then walk round the zoo and shows on foot for another hour+. All animals looked happy and well cared for. The Baboons are so funny we went through twice, but be warned, most cars get a thorough inspection and removal of some items we lost our wiper jets, the carnage of rubber strips are strewn around the enclosure!
10/10 recommend. It's a great family day out. Only downside was having to book tickets online but not a huge problem as we just pulled over and I ordered them there and then.Wait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
The whole park is great, and I mainly want to touch on the dog kennels since I couldn’t find much info online prior to visiting. Hopefully others see this review in the future if they are deciding whether or not to bring the dog. The kennels are located in past the parking lot, near the toilets at the at the start of the safari drive. There are 8 wooden kennels inside a metal shipping container building. Despite the hot weather, this building was nice and cool and we had zero concerns about leaving our dog in there. You are not allowed to walk your dog to the kennel. You can drive yourself, but if you are on foot like we were, you will need to wait for a staff member to drive you. They were happy to do this, but we did have to wait about 15 mins since they were initially too busy. You are responsible for bringing your own food & water for the dog, and a bed or blanket is recommended. You pay a small deposit for a lock which you get back upon return. We were there on a busy Saturday and there was only one other dog there at the time. There are very few places that have a kennel offering like this, especially at no extra charge. Since we made the trip in from Manchester and visiting Liverpool after, it was very nice to be able to bring our dog along.
Fantastic fun always love coming here. The animals are great, the safari drive is brilliant getting so close to the animals. Be aware of the baboon drive everyone we have been the monkeys have stole something off the car but it is brilliant fun and the kids love it when they are on the car. There are few good rides and park areas for the kids as well.
Great to experience a Safari in the UK. The drive through is a unique adventure bringing you up close to the wild. We arrived on a very sunny day which made the animals lazy and tired I suppose. They were all just chilling around and didn't witness as much action as anticipated. Yet overall it's a beautiful experience and a must visit.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
