I applied for a taxi license back in February and have been in constant contact with the council since then. Despite reaching out numerous times, I keep receiving the same generic replies without any real progress. This lack of communication and action is frustrating. It feels like the council is disregarding our concerns and using our patience for their own benefit. I hope they can improve their responsiveness and genuinely assist applicants moving forward.
As a new taxi driver, I found Knowsley Council's vehicle licensing process efficient. Booking the compliance test online was simple, and the council provided clear instructions. After passing the test, my older vehicle received a six month license. The online system made everything straightforward and user-friendly​
Totally disgusted with this council and livv housing, my parents have had faulty steps to thier house for years but despite asking for repairs it was always the same reply we can not help you due to budget cuts ? My dad had a fall on the steps and was admitted to hospital and never came homenOn the day of his funeral two people nearly fell over the steps one being the funeral director I have also fallen and injured my ankle as did my husband injured his toe ! no amounts of complaints to the council or livv housing comes to anything as both pass the blame onto each other ? The house is adapted for disabled people yet getting into the house safely is a huge issue. My mum walks with a zimmer and has numerous medical professionals coming into the house to tend to her and all have stated this step is very dangerous
I'm writing to you all to have information if you sell an application for a Private her taxi badge don't go to Liverpool city council these rubbish in Knowsley say you have to wait 2 months for the Badge because they had a lot of applications but they take the same money as Liverpool city ​​council, you will always say they make 100 applications a day, that they are very busy, they make 1 application a day, I don't prefer it to anyone
Have had a ongoing issue regards my refuse bin for quite some weeks and not getting anywhere.On my last call I spoke to a lady called Jo who took some details and made a call to the appropiate department , within days my problem was resolved. Would like to say a big thank you to Jo who works at stretton way for her assistance.
