I visit this nursery to buy plants regularly.The three ladies that work there are both delightful and knowledgable.Nothing is too much trouble,even a cup of tea and a fresh muffin is sometimes on offer.Mick Jagger might not of got satisfaction but he obviously didn’t visit Knowl Park Nurseries. Terrible customer service! How they still have a business is something of a miracle!! I was aproached by one thier female staff members who was pleasant and tried to help but it all went down hill when we went in the office to see Dianne the so called manager! Basically I asked for some Lavender. The Lavender they had outside was not really up to the job so I asked if she could possibly source any that was a bit more established as it was for a high end job and needed to be bigger. To which she replied " Good luck with that one and NO!" This wasn't someone having a joke she was just been plain rude and totally unhelpful! Before going into the office I had been speaking with the assistant about a number of Buxus balls they had outside. She said they were left over from a job. Once back outside after speaking to Dianne me and the assistant aproached the Buxus again and was followed out by a billowing Dianne informing us none were for sale. I told her I was looking to buy a large medium and small Buxus for some pots and asked if she could get some in for me. All of a sudden the ones I wanted were miraculously for sale which I found very odd. I joked that it was difficult to find the Buxus to fit the containers I had to work with as they were big and I didn't want to take them away and bring them back to which she replied " That won't be happening!" I had forgotten to bring the measurements with me so I said I would get them out of the car. She then just blanked me and started talking to the assistant like I wasn't there! In all my 20 years as a gardener I have never been to a nursery so unprofessionally run and never come across anyone so unfriendly and miserable. In the end I walked away empty handed and needless to say I won't be going there again. First time at Knowl Park and my last! Would not recommend to anyone!
Friendly staff, great selection of plants; very helpful and knowledgeable. I've used them since around 2007 to supply plants for my gardening business. Highly recommended.
It is a nice big park with a skate park and court area
