It's a busy place and you do have to be quick to get an appointment but I've only ever failed to get one when my phone was on the blink and they couldn't hear me, and I had to phone back, which put me to the back of the queue. You just need to be on the phone at bang on 8.30 and not listen to the whole spiel before you press 1 for an appointment. The doctors are all great and I've never had an issue with any of them. They've all got great bedside manners, as it were. The nurses too. They make sure that they're dealing with the whole person and not just what you came in with. As for the reception staff, they are fantastic and will go out of their way to do what they can within the constraints of their job. They must have to deal with many people who are frustrated and upset but they always try their best to find a solution. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
The worst doctors surgery. Do not attend. Only offer on the day appointments. Need to call every day at 8:30am and stay on the line for at least 45 minutes to then say there's none left do the same tomorrow. Been trying to get an appointment for 2 weeks now. Called again this morning to again say there's none left call tomorrow. I work Monday to Friday 9 to 5. It's almost impossible for me to call and sit on the phone that long in the first place. Never mind to do it 2 weeks straight. They then told me to just go and sit in minor injuries. Which they already told someone else I know to do and they sat in minor injuries for 8 hours. I cannot afford to take days off work. It's ridiculous that you can't just see a doctor to see what's going on and get referred if needed. Avoid this doctors at all cost.
Very bad, and the one responsible for the reception is the worst woman who has racism, and you cannot take a warning from them
They have been a good doctors for me I’ve been with them for 2 years. Easy to get a phone call and physical appointment. Friendly doctors and receptionists. Phones are busy in the mornings but that is normal for any practise.
The worst place ever. I have 4 yo son and since his born it always problem to get appointment. Every single time, the doctor said he will be fine, and always i need to look help in another doctors. My son had anemia, but you don't wont take the blad test, my son had a lazy eye, but you said ot normal now its not! We fight to not lose a vision in this eye, now he hed a cough, and you said a need a covid test! Seriously? We are on level 0!!! Everything is open, but not my GP. I am done with this place. Change GP immediately!
Rude. Insinuated I was on drugs. Was angry that I decided to stop taking certain medication, which I stopped in December. Its my body, right? Repeatedly asked if i was on drugs. I speak the way i speak, im not on drugs. Maybe if we had a face to face visit for once you could actually get to know me.
I've been with the practice since 93, Joan is the face of the practice, it's amazing how she can tell it's me without me giving details lol... doctor Costello was fantastic when my son had cancer at 15 wks old. Nothing was too much during that difficult time. I see doctor Watson and I cant fault her at all, she has never rushed me out the door, I have bad mental health and she has helped me come to terms with how my life was changing.
This is the best medical practice I have ever attended iam always treated with respect and in a professional manner you wouldn't find a more helpful and informative doctors anywhere else highly recommended. Thank you for all your help during my time of unfortunate I'll health.
Very helpful and will go out there way to accommodate myself Joan and other receptionist are fab All doctors are cery gd and dont rush you out the door. Highly recommended this practice
