First time here in 8-9 years and won’t be going back again. Noticed the decor hasn’t changed and really does need doing up, as looks a right dump. Says on the menu “king of kebabs”. So thought I’d try large Donner kebab for £7.50, it was the smallest Donner I've ever had on naan bread. Dry, thickly cut and plain tasting and tiny portion. The Mrs had a Samber, rice, onion bahjees, and she says was the worst curry she’s had in a long time. Thought the popperdoms were a bit pricey at 90p, so ordered just one to try, and trust me you get only one, but the type of super thin one, as soon as you touch it it breaks. Really bad food at this place. Avoid.
Always gone here, for years and ordered food at 6:15pm so I can watch England game and food should arrive by half time 7:30pm. It didn't, i rang at 8:10pm to be told food is ready just waiting on driver. It'll arrive soon. Nothing i rang back at 8:40 to be told still waiting for driver. I said if it's not here In 10 minutes cancel my order, he said it would. Got to 9pm I went to bed only for my doorbell to ring at 9:05pm. Delivery had arrived. I told them I'm in bed now I don't want it. Driver said it's busy and they gave me extra, I said it's too late. 2 hours and 45 minutes after ordering... Awful service. Shame as food always been good.
It’s ok. We’d heard good things but it didn’t deliver. Donner meat was dry in places and the chicken had that weird texture where it’s soft but crunchy. Stingy on the ‘salad’ and sauce too. It’s happened a few times now so we go elsewhere. Shame really as it’s just round the corner.
Great food one of the best curries about and not very expensive either. They aren't very hot but what they lack in heat they absolutely make up for with flavour!Food: 5/5
Excellent service and value for money, we ordered the sharing platter for 2 and had enough leftovers for a full meal the next day. The delivery guy was really friendly too. Everything was really tasty as well.
I order a take away this evening from yourselves. I order tandoori lamb chops main course , a chicken kebab and poppadoms with acodemants Absolutely gorgeous food . The chops were absolutely beautiful, tender jucy, I will be recomending you to all my friends thank you for a beautiful meal
Large clump of hair found in my food! Must have poor food hygiene standards. Could be excused if the food was amazing but the chicken in the biryani was very poorly prepared and over cooked massively. Worst takeaway I've ever had by a long long way, avoid at all costs
Ordered a kebab, it was nice but then I found quite a large piece of plastic. Put off.
Experienced appalling customer service from The Kismat this evening. A total lack of loyalty and offensive customer service. The chef is the only staff member with any professional standards. I have been aware of a significant drop in respect towards loyal customers recently due the time it takes for food to arrive average 1.5 hours after ordering Well done to the Kismat for losing a loyal customer and prompting bad reviews.
£11.70 for 2 chips, garlic naan and a starter chicken tikka. Unbelievable in my books. Don't get me started on the naan. Tasted and looked as bad as wall plaster. Never again. Chips were soggy and the tikka... Oh my. Looked like it had been marinated in I have no idea... But something pink. Going to go back and complain. Very poor. Never again!!!
