This website says its open 8-6 but when you ring up its 9-5. I once took some documents in they took copies then didn’t process them and then tried saying I never took them in. Now I always make sure they stamp or give me a receipt to say what I went in for

I began enquiries in May 2014 about vacant garage space to rent under Kirklees charge. It is now Jan 2015 and the series of excuses I have been offered as to why no information is available is not good enough. Eamples included 'the person dealing with these space is on holiday' followed by 'the person who deals with this is on extended leave' When I turned up in person I was sent to a different building who do not deal with such enquiries. So back to phone calls and I am finally given a name to contact. This does not improve matters as currently the last time she contacted me was two months ago to tell me a site visit would be made to take a look at the garage spaces, why? How difficult is it to have a spread sheet with up to date information outlining the situation with regards to rentals on this plot. I have been told that currently the information is in 'various notebooks' and someone is being employed to put it on a spreadsheet. I was also told I could not have any information until this was done. You are not providing me with any value for my council tax. I would like to know why you offer excuse after excuse to a simple question; are there spaces available to rent a garage footing on Strike Lane? Could you answer that question? It is now 2015 and the age of access to information was upon us a long time ago so why are you lagging so far behind at Kirklees Council Neighbourhood Housing. Are you building on that land? if so have the decency to stop wasting my time holding on the phone to leave yet another message, and tell me the situation without any more lame excuses.
