Jay and Anita provide a much valued service. Many would be lost without the shop/post office. They have a great variety and cater to many tastes. Get to know them a little and you will always receive a warm welcome.
They now do delicious takeaway food cooked by Anita. I bought a salmon curry, a sag aloo and four rotis and it was easily enough for two square meals. Be aware that you have to order 24 hours in advance, before 1pm and they don't do it Sundays or Mondays. See their website for the menu.
JAY AND ANITA PROVIDE EVERYTHING YOU NEED!! As out of towers visiting from Canada this store was our go to for everything. We got so many delicious meals, snacks, drinks and nic nacs there. Then not to mention the Currys!! Lamb, chicken, Salmon were absolutely delicious. The spice was just right. The sides okra, eggplant, cauliflower were delicious. Can't say enough really love this place and the owners are just amazingly warm and friendly people.
Lovely little shop, we were visiting the village. Went in, bought some coffees and tasted their delicious cakes, walked back down to the canal, and consumed it all. Very friendly staff.
