Like most doctors now hard to get an appointment. Can wait nearly an hour for phone to be answered. When you do get to see someone it's usually a nurse who does not listen and thinks she knows more about my body than I do. Every illness is blamed on weight gain. The only time you can see someone is when they want to do annual tests when appointments seem to suddenly be available. If you are in need of advice for a illness bad luck there are no appointments available try again next week.
Arrived Saturday 10 January 2026 for a consultation for my wife. Reception fine, consultation fine, which her husband undertook on her behalf.. On arrival, found the grounds treacherous with snow and ice. Absolutely no attempt to clear it or salt surfaces and found the entrance door inoperable. The door malfunction had persisted throughout the week. Found the public, some quite elderly struggling, on slippery surfaces. Clearly a dangerous situation outside a surgery!!
25 years at this once lovely surgery. Sadly now, since covid, it has become very poor indeed. The atmosphere in the waiting rooms is hostile the consultations lack compassion, basic care and professional ability. They do not take time to know you, they constantly refer to google to determine your care. You are a number and a very low number at that.
The worst GP practice that I have ever set foot in! The receptionists are rude and incompetent, give misinformation to patients.nAdvance practice nurse is terrible. A real old jobsworth! Doesn’t have a clue, and hasn’t any people skills whatsoever. In need of retirement desperately.nAVOID THIS PLACE!!!
Always a pleasure to visit, staff are friendly, had injections this time, they wanted us to book but they were running about an hour behind, other than the wait, everything was run smoothly, all staff were helpful.
