I would not recommend the place for anything but everyday transactions, like buying stamps etc. I repeatedly had problems with parcels sent abroad. Since Brexit the regulations are more complicated, and some of the staff don't  seem familiar with the procedures. If one complains to the manager, one gets a dismissive, unhelpful response. She is not willing to take any responsibility for things gone wrong. She doesn't realise that she doesn't do herself or the business any favour by just being defensive, and not helping in any way. . Next time I'm going to Staple Hill Post Office, where the manager is much more professional and approachable.

I was sending gold, I made them aware when posting the item, they told me what service to use so I did.. gold has gone missing.. turns out the postage they recommended compensation for lost post is £50 and your postage back.. my gold was worth over £700!!! Royal Mail take no responsibility as the postage was wrong, even tho the lady representing Royal Mail at the time told me what service to use!

I will happily update my review when I have actually been able to use this post office. Two attempts so far: 1st - I was there just before 3pm. They were shut from 2pm on that day. Google maps said it had confirmed the weekly opening times a week before via a phonecall. But I understand that anything could have happened on the day. 2nd - This time I made sure I arrived at maximum 1:45pm, which I did and had only one chance since I was working from home that day. One staff member was at the front of the queue putting their printed lunch note on closed from 2 to 2:45pm and said they were closed for lunch. The other staff member was finishing serving a customer about 2m away from me.  I understand they can be understaffed although if there were two members of staff, why not stagger like most service places do, so my first issue is easily explained away. But the second time makes far less sense, and was not helped by the fact I had to dash to this post office in desperation since the other Kingswood post office was closed with no explanation. An hour and a bit later and I was in the Fishponds post office sending my item before getting back to explain to my boss why I was 3-4 times longer than initially requested.  If you are in a pinch, I would avoid Kingswood Post offices as others are more reliable.

Worst post office that I know! The post office is already closed for 3 days and I can't collect my parcel from them! Useless!!!

Staff are nice enough, but this place seems to close early or close completely whenever it wants, citing staff shortages.  Quite surprising from an institution such as the Post Office.  I have now stopped using this location as it is too unreliable.

Visited this post office recently as I needed documentation for a DBS check "checked".  After a few mins I was informed that I didn't have 3 forms of documentation, only 2.  When I pointed out that I had given her 3 forms of documentation and I had done what was required and printed off what I was advised to I was again told no, I had completed the form incorrectly.   The cashier was very "off".  I visited Stapleton Road post office the next day with the exact same documents and they put it through absolutely fine.  When I stated that Kingswood had refused it the day before they were not sure what the problem was!   I suggest that the staff know their practices in this post office before telling people that they are wrong.  Will not set foot in this place again!

Very rude staff, no customer service skills.. I went to post some stuff to London and the lady on the counter with no skills, her way of talking was very rude like she is frustrated. I gave my parcel to her and she printed the receipt. On receipt she put wrong address when I told her oh it’s incorrect address she was like really then you better  write properly where on my envelope it was clearly saying what postcode is and in capital.:  Overall no attention to detail..

Wrong opening times. The owner has made an “update” to this google listing to advertise travel insurance, but hasn’t bothered to update the opening times. It was closed when I got there. Wasted journey. See photo for current opening hours
