We had high tea. It was a good menu. The usual high tea choices with the inclusion of the carvery. All home made cakes and scones. An abundance of tea. Service was very good and the staff were very attentive. The hotel has a warm and cosy feel the minute you open the front door. I can thoroughly recommend it. Reasonably priced too.

Lovely setting, rooms were very comfortable and well equipped everything in good working order. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Superb choice for breakfast. Great food in restaurant again good choice on the menu. Used the Alexander Suite and Canmore for function. Buffet food was outstanding in terms of taste and choice, best sausage rolls I have ever tested. The cakes were great with a good selection Staff were very helpful. Good choice of drinks A small but outstanding selection of malt whisky. The view across the forth from the sea facing bedroom s was breathtaking of Edinburgh and the Pentlands behind. Far better experience than large chain hotel at a good price.Will visit again

Staff are very polite and helpful room's are a good size we had a balcony. The food is very good would stay here again

Nice hotel, good WiFi, friendly staff. Food was ok but the menu was a bit limited. I can imagine the views to be stupendous when the weather clears up....
