My fave restaurant / “gastropub” in Cambridge by a long way. £1 oysters on Monday are incredible. Chef knows what he’s doing and puts on an adventurous and always tasty menu.
Really amazing food! High end modern Israeli cuisine with a bit of a Spanish fusion in the heart of Cambridge for a fair price in a pub atmosphere- what else could you want? And chef Maoz is always extremely friendly. Highly recommend!
The place is nice and peaceful, so you can have a conversation at normal volume when is full. The food is pretty nice and in big quantities, so you can see enjoy a bear and hummus for 2 and have a nice dinner. We also discovered a nice new way of eating the hummus . I will repeat and I absolutely recommend it.
Absolutely great side street pub, great set of wickets, spot on beer, will be back for sure.
It’s back! Feels a little more open and airier than the previous pub iteration thanks to the short-lived wine-bar, but that works well. Lots of good ciders and beers, and great atmosphere. Need to find another pub-cat and some retro games consoles though!
Really delicious food. The perfect menu for food and drinks with friends! Favourite spot in Cambridge.
We were regulars a long time back and we're really glad it's a proper pub again! Fantastic beer choice, and a nice outdoor space.
I had Arayes and apple juice. They were both very nice. Arayes was a tasty mix of lamb and beef meat served with a few cooked veggies. The apple juice was local and fantastic. The staff was kind, helpful and quick. The terrace/garden is small and the tables quite close to each other but ot was a covered area, so it wasn't too windy or cold. The decoration is very nice with beautiful details.
Visited several times. Fantastic food, excellent hummus, very nice bar service and wine too.
Came here for the first time because of a recommendation, even though we've lived nearby for years. The service was absolutely first class, and we truly felt transported away from Cambridge to the sunnier climbs of the streets of Spain. Leti was so friendly and clearly passionate about what she is doing, I hope she can have the inside open in May as the interior is looking refreshed and very stylish. The alfresco dining out the back of the pub has a great atmosphere and you feel part of the action as you watch the chefs at work. The food is brilliant, the first time we've had oysters in a pub in Cambridge and we have already booked to come back at the weekend for dinner. Can't wait!
