Community with passion, pride and pleasure, this pub is for the people! Enjoy affordable food with a high standard “proper pub grub” in Poole’s historic Old Town dating back since 1406 keeping in tune with old school values with a secret sunny garden.

I have just had a fantastic meal here as we are holidaying with family! The staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating, food was fab, atmosphere was brilliant! All round great time had by all!

Called in on the off chance for some food Friday 31st July, very accommodating. Friendly staff and a lovely pub. Lovely homecooked food. So good, we booked for this evening 1st August. Would 100% recommend. We would certainly visit again if ever we are in Poole again. Thankyou!
Last minute walk in. Found the family a table. Good choice of food and nice ale. Baby even enjoyed Metallica on the Jukebox.
