Nice place with a good location. Entrance on the level so good access for disabled. Extensive menu from sandwiches to meals. We had lunchtime light meals which were good value...1 course for £7, 2 course for £10 3 course for £22. Had the fish, chips and mushy peas, didn't wait long even though it was quite busy. Very hot and nicely cooked. Would go again.

Good pub grub if you like large portions! Restaurant is nice - if a tad cold, especially recently - try not to get a seat by the window if you feel the cold. Had a lovely meal yet again - waitress not very efficient though with drinks on arrival - think we were forgotten - which happens, but this same scenario has happened more than once. However, overall a good place to eat!

Went here for tea in the week with the family. I was a bit unsure what to have as I’m currently doing slimming world. This was no problem at all and as soon as I mentioned it to the girls who were serving they let me know the chef will cater. What an amazing service. I had gammon (fat all removed) before it came to me, grilled mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and grilled fresh pineapple with a side salad. I had a brill weight loss this week and it just shows you can go out and eat and enjoy. Just wanted to say thank you as the meal was lovely and the kids n other half enjoyed there’s as well. Staff was really nice. Definitely recommend this place and I shared this with the slimming world group on how good you was. Very impressed customer.

Fantastic value for money with plenty of parking and outside seating. You need to book for the restaurant, we eat in the bar. However, you need to pay for your meal when you order it at the bar.
