So friendly and helpful staff. There was confusion over the booking, my fault, we didn't book, but they accommodated us, a party of 9! How good is that. Then the food, was so good, fantastic variety, including several vegan options, which went down well, and the carnivores were well taken care of too. Did I mention the chips? brilliant, and portion sizes exceptional too. A good variety of beverages are available as well.
Was staying in the area overnight to visit Hartpury University. Called in to eat as recommended by the hostess of our B&B. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome. Staff were helpful and even gave us advice on the area and University. As for the food. You will definitely not leave hungry. The portion sizes were amazing and taste was fantastic. Will definitely be back when visiting my daughter once she starts uni
Portions are big.. Mum had the vegetarian lasagna, whilst I had the BBQ ribs. Quick service - staff were very courteous and pleasant. Service was quick. Pint was excellent. Good parking. Sensible to book ahead and reserve a table. Good atmosphere.
Oh my ! Forget the mass produced carvery at Toby... this Sunday roast is 100 x better. Fresh veg, very generous portions and as much gravy as you want. I will quite happily keep this as my go to eatery. Support local businesses, use it before you lose it.

I went with a group of friends for a meeting and xmas get together. I've never been before but shall be back! Food was amazing. Proper homely roast with the most amazing gravy and generous portions .lovely accommodating people running the place. Thank you so much for a fab time.
Not been to the KA for 40 years,what pleasure to visit today. Fantastic food, friendly, homely and very friendly staff. Excellent food menus with lots of choices Including a wide gluten free meal choice. Once again, thank you to all the staff that gave us a very pleasant lunch time meal. We will be back. Love this place. Fantastic food with plenty of it. Staff are polite and friendly. Had a good chat with the head chef who told us of its apprenticeship program. A definite place to stop for food. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Fantastic Sunday Lunch with very generous portions and a wide selection of Vegetables including cauliflower cheese, just oozing with bubbling melted Cheese. Quick service with lots of staff working all who were super friendly and happy to chat. Definitely need to book as we arrived at 1.00 for our booked table and restaurant almost full. We had a cheese platter and it was very generous with lots of biscuits and wax wrapped artisan cheeses.Very clean and tidy with a great range of well kept ales.
Had lunch here today as part of a coach trip. The food was incredible! The lasagne was the best I have ever had. The staff were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone commented on their meals, how full they were! The portions are huge! If you eat here, arrive with an empty stomach and expectation of an excellent dinner. I hope to return with hungry friends! And thanks to the lovely girls who loved my pink hair!
