Only visted the pub. Absolutely no atmosphere. Place looked deserted.
I am aware that this is more of a functions facility - and golf, but wow, is this place dead!!
Loads of parking and great scenery.
If you want a relaxed, quiet and privacy beer, give it a visit.

Quiet clean and friendly would be the best description and I love it. Breakfast is good and the staff are very welcoming. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable so no complaints from me.

Great value, friendly staff and good breakfast. I stayed here on short notice and wasn't sure due the 3 star rating. However nothing to worry about here apart from the Clubhouse being slightly tired. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean with tea, coffee and biscuits available. In fact I was running low on the small uht milk pots in the evening so went to the bar as reception was closed and was given a small jug of milk cling filmed so I didn't have to worry about spills! The only thing I did notice was the menu for evening food was not very big and in winter I think there very busy. Don't get me wrong it not the Ritz but I paid £60 for B&B and I don't thing you can go wrong here for that sort of price and I would rate it 4.5 stars and great for short term work/business stays.

Staff friendly but I was very unimpressed with the food that was on offer at a corporate  event.  Could do with freshening up everywhere. Very cold in the upstairs room.
