Cold Called my elderly parents for the third time offering a 'free quote' for their overpriced roof coatings, despite being requested not to. And it was pretty clear that these were elderly people they were trying to persuade to buy a product costing thousands on the doorstep - one which no-one should buy from a cold caller. Disgusting.
I had Kingdom Coatings do my roof this month. It was booked for December but weather turned too cold and wet to continue. There was no hard sell and Kieran and Aaron that did the work are a great team..Very pleasant and ameniable. Maybe just remind them to wash your windows.
No thanks! I am the primary wage earner in my household and they refused to provide me with a quote unless my husband was with me. And I thought we had hit the 21st century.
This company is cold calling in the Annandale area of Dumfries and Galloway This is the second time you have been here in the matter of months, you Seam to pick out the elderly and bungalows why are you scared of heights? I also noticed playing back my cameras etc you knock on the glass or letterbox rather than use the video doorbell….. I hate to tell you this but it also detects movement so shows your salesman and your logo as well then stand away back from the door? We in our area have social media and we alert each other for this kind of thing So please stay away
A 1 star review from their sales tactics alone! Cold called round the village where it is clearly shown there is no cold calling allowed. When I told him this he said “I can call wherever I want, I’m a legitimate business and the police know I’m here”, which is clearly a lie. Rude sales staff doesn’t bode well for their service in general.
We had our roof done by a local company a few months ago and are delighted with it. Anyway this guy pitches up yesterday and offers to check our roof, saying he had done the work previously. This is a LIE. The people who did my roof are actually friends of mine, so I'd know wouldn't I? Unscrupulous cold calling tactics which the more vulnerable would have fallen for. Beware.
Have now had the forth visit at the door within the space of 2 months from this company after repeatedly turning down their offer to clean and coat my roof. I understand the need to solicit new business but a record should be kept of who you have already called upon and when to avoid disturbing people who clearly do not want your services. Also, I would suggest a rethink of the attitude shown towards others who have posted negative reviews in order to improve your ratings and company image.
When the recommendation by a neighbour was made to have my roof cleaned, treated & coated by Kingdom Coatings & when I saw how good my neighbour's roof looked, I agreed to have similar work done. From point of sale to completion, I am impressed with the politeness of everyone involved, how quickly my order was dealt with, the hard work ethic of Willie, James & Chris was evident, Willie spoke me through the stages, he kept in contact when adverse weather prevented him from travelling up to complete the work last weekend...for now I am one very happy customer. Thank you to everyone involved.
Products used appear to be good quality. Had both roof & walls done at different times. Roof had to be re-done after 3 years long story!! however finally completely re-done under warranty. Staff who did wall coating and warranty roof work were efficient, pleasant, polite and tidied up. Our main concern was dealing with the office. If you use this company then our advice is to record every call on your phone or answermachine and note down time & date details of every call from them or that you make, so that you have proof of exactly what was said should you encounter any problems. Make sure you tell them you are recording to keep it legal. Customer care is poor in terms of returning calls or calling when they said they would. We found that every time we spoke with them we were told a different story or a variation on what we had been told originally so that we were unsure what to believe ! We have a total of at least 25 calls mainly from us to them about the work to be done. We have resorted to writing 3 letters re long story above! to the Managing Director to no avail - apparently they don't answer letters, they just make a phonecall. You will NOT get to speak to the Director apparently he doesn't come into the office much so we were told or anyone with sufficient authority, as there doesn't seem to be anybody with any 'clout' in the office who is sufficiently competent to deal effectively with any problems. Customer service is sadly lacking and certainly isn't efficient. This is the reason we have only given 2 stars. So after a month there is a reply from the company below! Finally something in writing!! In your reply once again, the details given by you differ to what has been said over the phone to us. We were unable to speak to a director when we asked & still no official reply to our letters. There was only one director listed on company records, the other two left apparently. The roof had to be totally redone because it wasn’t done properly the first time, and not least because we threatened to report the company further to relevant authorities. We gave the reason for giving 2 stars & your reply below just confirms our opinion.. Any further communication should be formally given direct to us as we originally asked & not posted online. People who read the reviews can make up their own minds!!!
