Went here on a works dinner, no vegan options on the mains, but I was asked to call ahead and the chef said he'd make me anything, I said he could surprise me. And surprise me he did! The food was amazing! And such variety!! Usually when there's no vegan options, I don't expect much, but chef amazed me!!! 10/10!! Dietary restrictions: Call ahead, chef was super accommodating.
Excellent food great menu with exceptional service. We have not been there since pre covid but will be returning very soon. Lovely evening thanks to all the staff for looking after us so well.
Have eaten here a few times and the food and service are always excellent! We had the cream chicken and the spicy chicken. It was delicious. The staff are always friendly and polite. It was a very hot evening and the air con was a blessing. Highly recommend
I don't normally take photos of my food, so you won't get to see the excellent Scallop and Chorizo we had for starters, or the beautiful Sea Bass that the missus had, but here is the Beef Wellington I had. Seriously good, beautifully cooked - everything done just right.
A surprise delight. Exquisite food; I was really not expecting how truly excellent everything tasted. Thank you Chef! And beautifully presented and served. Not to mention the portions were huge compared to other similar venues. The service was warm and friendly, without being cloying. And very helpful too - I had a couple of questions about the crab and the chef came out to explain. The decor was calm and, classy with a small unobtrusive tribute to Her late Majesty on the bar. I loved it here and hope to go again. Thank you to the person that greeted and served us too.

Seven of us for a birthday dinner. Food and service were excellent! Five of us had an assortment of steaks -all cooked as ordered and superb. Other two had calves liver and moussaka which were equally delicious. Cannot recommend this gastro pub too highly - will be revisiting soon.
I thought I would return here again after a year, to have a traditional Sunday roast dinner. It just didn’t hit the mark for me. Roast potatoes were the frozen type. The vegetables was just a mixture all piled up together. The meat was ok but the Yorkshire pudding was good. Although plentiful it just wasn’t great and there’s better elsewhere - even Toby as at least there it’s all fresh. Desserts were enjoyed, although again lacked la la la!
Superb food is offered here, together with outstanding service from the waiters. The atmosphere is warm & mellow. I look forward to dining there again.Food: 5/5
We had our meal last night and it was absolutely delicious from start to finish and the portions were very generous , we're looking forward to coming back again in the near future
