Visited during the September hot spell and we were pleasantly surprised to find lovely rear beer garden.. From the outside you may think this is a small working man's pub.. But inside it is so modern and spacious. The landlord was super friendly too.. Just sorry its taken so long for me to review.
Had a Sunday lunch here with my wife and a group of friends. Absolutely lovely friendly staff, and the food was amazing. My wife and I both had the pork belly roast. Probably the largest chunk of meat I've ever been served in a restaurant Sunday lunch. Will definitely be visiting next time we're in the area.
I’am first time in UK, I asked the waiter to bring me a pint of traditional English beer. He brought me a pint of Stella artois. :-
Lovely friendly pub nice pint and dog friendly. We stopped off on route elsewhere to a very warm welcome. Lovely bar man chatty and happy. Thoroughly nice stop
Stopped off in Ross and fancied a bite. The bar staff was very pleasant and we decided on food. It was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and really tasty. Brilliant.

We booked a table based on past review but was shocked to arrive and find we were literally the only people there for nearly an hour. Initially told that no steak meals available and when we did order Food took a long time to arrive and chips were over cooked. When other people did arrive it appeared that it is more of general pub than a pub/restaurant very poor would not consider going back Also the music being played I we felt was not appropriate for a pub because of it was rap music that contained offensive comments and swearing it might have been ok for later in the night but not early evening
A lovely pub with staff how are friendly and happy to help , the food was delicious we went on a Tuesday and enjoyed the burger and drink special my husband will be going with his pals on Weds for the curry club on a Wednesday and were going on Thursdays for steak club . We've Recommended it to a few people we know for Christmas meals in the run up.
Brilliant place in middle of town,friendly staff, food was a decent price and cooked well
Had a bacon and sausage baguette on the way back from a weekend away it was 5 star grub for a baguette . The staff were really good at their jobs. Just the toilets let the place down a little. Wasnt the cleanest.
