The staff are so sweet and welcoming and the environment is so comforting. I have been 3 times already and i know i will keep coming back. You enter and immediately are seen by staff, you choose what items you want to paint from a wall of many choices then sit at your table which has a lot of space to paint, then you paint for around 2 hours using a wide range of colours and paint brushes, there are also food and drink options further elevating the experience. I love coming here so much and so glad i found this place and i would advice anyone and everyone to go!
A lovely spot for a relaxing afternoon. I visited on a Sunday at 1pm, but had also been there a few months earlier early in the morning on a Saturday. Both times, the shop didn’t feel too busy or loud. It has a pleasant atmosphere and helpful, polite staff. The drinks are good, and there’s a variety of pottery to paint, which also differs in price, allowing for a more economical or a more expensive day out depending on your vibe and the prices you prefer to paint. The pickup process once your pottery has been fired in the kiln is very simple; they just send you a message, and you can collect it during their opening hours. Overall, I would definitely recommend it!
Kilning Me Softly is honestly my happy place. I can have a stressful job and coming here feels like my safe haven — the one place I can truly relax and switch off. I love it so much that I keep bringing different people with me, and every single one of them has loved it just as much as I do!nnThe studio itself is decorated beautifully, with such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. There’s an amazing range of pottery to choose from and the drinks menu is just as good – whether it’s a hot chocolate or one of their cocktails, everything is always perfect. It’s also really dog friendly, which means I can bring my quite large! dog along. If I let them know in advance, they kindly give us a table at the edge of the room so she has more space, which I really appreciate.nnI love following their Instagram to see all the incredible designs people have created, and their “Pick of the Week” is such a fun idea – I’ve been lucky enough to win which was such a lovely surprise. Booking is always quick and easy, and they sometimes run extra events too. I went to their Valentine’s quiz night and the atmosphere was brilliant – fun, lighthearted, and full of laughs.nnThey’re also really quick at getting your pottery back to you after firing and it’s always carefully wrapped. The whole team is so friendly and kind, and they give the best advice if you’re ever unsure how to get the effect you want with your painting.nnI wish I could go every week! It’s such an affordable experience for the quality of pottery, the time you get to relax and create and the beautiful end result. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!
An absolutely awesome venue! We came here a little week ago 21/02/24 I came with a group and I painted a skeleton which turned out amazingly nnThe money was well worth it and didn't cost much it was within my personal weekly budget going out as a small group, the minute I walked into the studio the owners were very welcoming and friendly and explained to us all how it worked! Harri and Niamh, a pair of nice and welcoming ladies nnI loved the fact that they had a skittles milkshakennI will be returning for sure, the venue sure is attractive! And welcoming, I loved it there and am desperate to go again!
Visited recently to make some bespoke egg cups for my new house.nI was blown away with the professional, friendly and warm service from the girls in the shop and the range of pottery available to paint - it was so hard to choose what to do!nI will definitely be back to make more items and look forward to trying out more of the delicious beverages.
