Really impressive farm shop with an excellent election of fresh meats. Had a meal in the restaurant served by smiley, helpful people. Steak in pie very tasty, I left the pastry french fries been kept warm too long and were dry, gravy a hefty sludge of coloured cornflour. Nothing much on the menu for gluten averse like me. 9/10 for the shop, 7/10 the meal.
Definitely the place for a treat. Either from the farm shop or cafe. Slightly more expensive than the local supermarket but a huge selection of fresh meat. Recently had French toast and bacon in the cafe. Very well made with high quality ingredients so I definitely recommend a visit.
Bought our Christmas turkey from Kilnford for the first time. It was absolutely delicious, moist and very meaty so plenty for everyone. Ordering online was simple and along with free delivery on 23rd Dec - couldn't be happier. Fantastic produce and service. Thank-you.
Sadly disappointed in our visit today for lunch. The soup was rotten, tasted like someone had poured a full bag of sugar in it. Not the standard we have been used too. Highlighted the issue with the server lassie who acknowledged the two near full bowls left, however not even a sorry or offer to deduct from the bill. We had drinks and a sandwich too which were really good. But £30 for two of us not to enjoy it leaves a worse tatse in my mouth than the soup did. Well actually not quite. Had I not been before and previously enjoyed our food this would have been a one star review for service and food quality. Certainly won't be rushing back.
Wide range of food in the shop all good quality, especially the meat. We always go more specifically for something to eat. Although on the wrong side of town for us the extra few miles is 100% worth it. Top quality food served by friendly staff.
Absolutely loved this wee cafe! Came for lunch and was not disappointed! Had the halloumi cheese wrap with chips - delicious, especially the chilli jam! I wish I had more time to explore the shop - will definitely be back!
Great farm shop; looks small on the outside but there are more adjoining buildings behind! Two parking lots; one on site, second one across the road. Shows you how busy this place can get! Once inside, there are tons of things to buy! Good selection of cheeses, meats cooked and raw, fruits, vegetables, jams, relishes, wines, biscuits, sweets etc. There is also a florist here and you can buy greeting cards, gifts, souvenirs too. There's a restaurant for those wanting fresh hot/cold food/drinks. Toilet facilities available too. Items are a bit on the pricey side but the quality certainly is there! Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, a great visit and certainly spent quite a bit of the lovely stuff here.
We love it here! The staff are great, and the quality of items is amazing. The meat is always spot on every time!
Excellent service and great food even with the place full to bursting point with every table full and a queue waiting to get in the staff were brilliant
