We visited Castle yesterday,as expected very well preserved and superb views over estuary.Well worth a trip and possibly best preserved castle yet,and we have seen numerous examples.

However must praise the lady in reception shop,we purchased a small 
toy dragon in this shop for a little child in our party,but sadly lost this little toy in the village or nearby river walk and she was quite upset.
I went back to the shop today to see if toy was possibly handed in but no trace.
However the kind lady immediately gave me another free of charge to replace the lost item.

Superb customer service and we will visit again soon,thank you very much.

Amazing castle, lovely location and the view from the top of the North East Tower is amazing. Loads of rooms to go into. If you understand the way a castle work its an interesting few hours. If you want to know how a castle works take the tour at Pembroke Castle first.

Lovely castle ruins, relatively complete. Quiet, even during school holidays.  Good gift shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff

Beautifully kept with a small gift shop and ice cream available. No cafe. We had a lovely sunny day so really enjoyed. Nice for children as long as you keep them from climbing some if the high walls .

Very friendly team who were the perfect start for a fascinating visit to a 'Welsh' castle. A proper fortification; the associated history was fascinating. A refresh of some of the features would be beneficial but did not undermine a splendid visit. Lunch at the equally friendly Gatehouse Cafe is a must - minimum, their Barra Brith was tops
