This was a solid restaurant to get a takeaway from, where my QR codes from the app were easily recognized at the counter! The lights provide a nice atmosphere as does the KFC slogan lit up on the wall and friendly service was delivered by the staff, who had kept the area clean. I really enjoyed my Hot Wings and chips with ketchup; all of the food tasted totally fresh! However, I was disappointed when the Watermelon Refresher was unavailable but I managed to switch it for a classic Tango and the service time was too slow at nearly 5 minutes.
My kids love KFC, me not so much but it was surprisingly good. Definitely freshly prepared with good service and was very quick. I've had bad experiences at other branches but the only fault I have after my visit to Colne was they didn't put my sauce order 40p extra paid in the bag and I didn't notice until I got home. Parking: I used the blue badge space diasabled and there were plenty available and very close to the door with no uneven surfaces on the way.
Waited 1hr in my car to collect online order. I rang from outside 3 times to be told its just being cooked now. When brought to my car an hour after arriving, i was told, sorry we forgot.Food: 5/5
Food good, service OK but disgusting eating area. Plenty of empty tables but not one was clean or cleared of food. One customer was sitting at a table surrounded by large amounts of food on the floor that could easily be swept. How can the management of this restaurant allow a customer to sit and eat food in this environment. If they allow this to happen on the customer side of the counter, what must it be like behind the scenes.
Slow and inaccurate table service made worse by undercooked chicken, forgotten items, incorrect drink sizes. All this when using the electronic menu inside the restaurant. Sorry but there was zero care and attention paid here. Ordered the food, took number and went to table. Then waited and waited and waited. Bear in mind there was nobody at the drive thru and only one other table with people and we sat and waited for 30 minutes before food finally arrived. So definitely not fast. When the food did arrive there were a variety of things missing. Including the drinks, and when those arrived even the fact that Large had been selected and paid for only standard sizes arrived. Then the food itself. My daughter bit into her fillet burger and and immediately recoiled at the pink undercooked chicken. There was not an element of this meal that was acceptable, so can only recommend you stay away.
Shocking all round. Don't think anyone got an order correct while I stood and waited nearly 20 minutes for food when it did arrive it was to ear in when I requested to be taken out. Chicken was dry and chips were a soggy mess.Food: 1/5
Sometimes KFC is alright, depending on what time you go. But when it's bad, it's bad. Went through the Drive-Thru this evening, and the order taker over the tannoy was lazily not paying attention, indifference was in his voice, and I had to repeat myself many times to get the order corrected, and even in the end he still got it wrong, because he obviously didn't care. Then what it came to paying at the payment/collection desk, a female Asian employee was rude by handing the card reader over, passing the food, all the time not a word said, no 'hello' or 'goodbye', nothing. Little zero customer service skills. And added to all this, the food was bad this evening. Finger Lickin Good, I binned most of my chips as they were inedible.
Went tonight with my wife. Got to the pay window after waiting 10 minutes to be told can we park up and wait 15 minutes more whilst they cook more chicken. We should have been told of the wait when placing our order! The service level has dropped considerably since our last visit! Parking: Plenty of spaces Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty good wheelchair access. Room for improvement though!
Overall, my experience at this location was not terrible. I encountered some issues with the chips, as some of them were green, but the staff did replace them for me upon request. However, the staff were quite arrogant and did not speak to me at all during my visit. On the positive side, the burger was good and the service was fast. Despite the negative aspects of my experience, I still had a decent meal and received prompt service.
