Take note Bedfordshire Indian restaurants- this is how an Indian dining experience should feel. My feeling is, after visiting here, why go to another Indian restaurant in town now? These guys made us feel welcome from the start. Very cheerful, helpful, attentive waiters, showing genuine gratitude for custom. The tandoori dish I had was perfectly cooked, unlike so many other dry, over cooked offerings from previously visited Indian restaurants. Rice was soft with a delicious subtle spiced flavouring, and sag paneer cooked with very little oil. That’s another thing that stands out - less oil, better tasting Vegetables, no food colourings, more consideration to healthier choices. I’d like to see them go further, offering healthier choices still- organic food maybe? If it’s not on the menu, they will also make to your requirements. They’ve certainly learnt a few lessons in this relaunch, maybe from my friendly home area in the north east? :). Other places could too. Why go to a restaurant that seems bored and inconvenienced to serve you, offering the usual overcooked, oily dishes, which is what most other Indian restaurants do in the area- in my opinion.

Really great atmosphere and service. Especially the attentiveness of MIL and Wahiid. The food was really tasty and well presented. Couldn't find fault with anything to be honest. The restaurant is clean and well appointed. Fantastic place and woudl highly recommend.

Been a couple of times since they rebranded from the former Saffron. Fully refurbished too a very high standard. Now has a charcoal grill seething some beautiful new flavours as well as on request all the items of the old menu for die hards who hate change. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Reserved as I am I must say that the refit is done in very good taste. Would recommend out to anyone.

Absolutely lovely food. I was extremely lucky to try these guys out within their first month of opening. Staff were so nice too😁😁, highly recommend.

Great food, wonderful service, if Carlsberg made a curry, this is the best curry house in the world. Most definitely recommend this wonderful family run business. Please give this restaurant a try.
