Yes, a total shambles. Choose dying peacefully at home if possible, rather than wasting your time looking for an appointment or treatment here. It was justly voted in the bottom 5 practices of the country a few years back. I've been trying to get into another surgery for years. Pathetic.
If I could leave a review with zero stars I would. Absolute shambles of a doctor surgery. Can never get an appointment, if trying to get a same day appointment the receptionists demand an unnecessary amount of personal information about what’s wrong then they decide they won’t bother to give you an appointment anyway. They do not listen to you when you’re explaining a problem. Dr Zuberi is the worst doctor of them all, talks over you, doesn’t listen, runs his own narrative. Refuses to refer you for care the only doctor I’ve ever come across who refuses to refer you on when you require care from other services, even if you ask him to, when I asked “why?” He kept replying “no”, “no”, “no”, which isn’t actually a logical response to the question of “why” but anyway. On the other hand Dr Pop is lovely and is an asset to the practice.
I have been patient with this surgery since just before covid, I have had the worst experiences here but my opinion was quickly changed after one appointment. The Dr who seen me was extremely rude and dismissive regarding the issue at hand. I left the appointment dumbfounded and baffled which unfortunately led to the fact that I had to make a complaint, not something I do often but I felt like at this time it was necessary. I explained to the receptionist who was on at the time that my letter needed to be addressed ASAP, and it was 9.30am the next morning I received a phone call from Gillian The surgery manager not only was my complaint handled in such a professional manner but I had a new appointment lined up with a fantastic Dr. I cannot thank Gillian and Dr Potts enough. This one experience has made me feel very happy with my choice of Dr's, yes there are still some things that need to be addressed unfortunately but I think the new surgery manager who has been apart of the surgery when it was at it's worst is truly trying to turn things around and make it a better place
It’s impossible to got an appointment no matter what if your waiting for test results be prepared to wait for over six months even if they tell you it’ll only take a week staff are rather rude and make you feel like a burden for wanting an appointment
Never had problem getting appointments, great doctors they listen to you unlike other doctors..
