I could not wait to try your shop and the delivery man was very nice and friendly but I was quickly disappointed when I got my food! I got a fish as part of my order and it was disgusting! It smelt awful and I could not even eat anything else because it had made me feel sick! You were lucky to get 1 star but that was only because it would not allow me to give any less! Definitely will not be ordering again
I can honestly say I will not be ordering from Ken’s again I thought the food was awful I ordered salt and pepper chicken as part of my order, there was nothing salt and pepper about it dry is a understatement. The delivery driver was rude to my partner cz he was bang on down stairs door as I’m in a flat when it clearly stated ting mobile when outside as door bell doesn’t work. And to top it all off the large portion of chips was missing so had to wait for another 45 mins for them to come.
Food recently isn't as nice as it used to be not sure if it has new owners or just different staff not visiting it as much now Parking: Not much space alot of people including owner uses the car park to the building next door and as for wheelchairs there's a huge step so no chance Wheelchair accessibility: Huge step to get up so wheelchairs is a nono
Absolutely disgusting beef was slimey and food only just warm, and i picked it up so they cant blame that on delivery driver will never go there again
Waited 2 hours for a delivery after being told 45 minutes. When the food eventually arrived its was stone cold. Phoned the shop to complain and they couldn’t understand English but could take my order. Avoid this place
Got a delivery order tonight from Kens. Food was cold and half of the order was missing. Rang to tell them. Was told it wasn,t asked for...this was after being asked if the noodles that were ordered were instead of the rice??? It,s not me that has memory problems. Won,t be bothering again. This place has really gone to the dogs!
WARNING Went kens last night and despite wearing a blue mask.. staff was coughing and spluttering whilst making the chips, didn't move or even turn her head away was just continuing seeing to the chips whilst continually coughing. We always use here when we eat out as the foods lovely however previously got a meal which we always heat half up the following day as it tasted better better I'd been called into into alst minute minute cover. Tried to heat it up after my night shift an it was off so they had clearly used food that was going out of date otherwise it should of lasted especially when it was in the fridge! Went kens last night and the staff had a blue mask on but was still coughing and spluttering while seeing to the chips!! We still go there but not for meals
Order the Chicken Fried Rice, very nice. Recommended Edit: Unfortunately I went back the following week, and found a piece of plastic in the chicken fried rice. I know this was a one off, as I used to use this chippy regularly and never had any issues before. But it has to reflect my score, as I’ve never been back since.
I go here a lot mostly I get the chicken fried rice and some curry with salt and pepper chips. The chicken fried rice is a good recommendation from me
Im usually impressed with the food at Kens but tonight was disappointing. Spring rolls were OK, prawn toast was so oily that it was literally leaking out of the bag, salt n pepper ribs didn't have any salt n pepper on at all,no chillies etc so they were plain. Vermicelli was ridiculously hot. Wasn't impressed tonight im afraid. Order 103570
